Shopping CartTalkativeTri: The algo pointed me here! Great video, always happy to see more people commentating on PoE1/2. Hope the endgame improves with this upcoming patch and hooks more people :)
Totally agree on no delve incoming.
GhazzyTV: Good takes for the most part!
(fck delve)
richardfranzen8911: The other thing I love about delve is that the content is bite-sized. Each node is super fast, which makes the pace of exploration, finding something worth pursuing, and pathing towards it feel rewarding. Poe2 ridiculously long maps feels like you find something you want to path towards and you'll get there in an hour or two.
colinpastuch: Trial of Sukmeaas is it's nickname for a reason!
Great video, agree on all points.
rezienzio1506: DELVE!!!
sonyx1991: Tota was so awesome. i would also love a Return of the Mechanic!
Uber_GoobTube: Here's my take. It will be incorporated directly into the atlas map. Delve Will simply be a node on the map, once you complete that map, it will allow you to go underground, revealing a smaller map underneath with specific content. 5-10 maps, and while underground, you'll be able to see other nodes that will lead underground nearby, to give you a direction to push towards on the atlas map.
TawnosWins: Finally someone else saying the game needs some sort of Exalt sink. Everyone just talks about a divine sink.
lucanmarius2897: I also want to point out item rarity. Having to get more 100% (150 is the ideal target) on gear is nuts.
toblurrz: A new ascendancy method would probably make me cry of joy, Sekhemas is legitimately just anti-fun and I don't even want to talk about trial of chaos istg.... I dread getting my asc with every new character i roll
moves2008: They can easily fix economy but GGG chose to inflate the economy. I also want them to add ascendency art on the character itself. When you ascend you should be able to see ascended let's storm weaver like the and not the same boring character. They should also let us change ascendencies to test different builds.
69Katango: Just saw your channel for the first time after seeing Ghazzy's recent video. I really appreciate a lot of your points here, as well as the information in some of your other videos. Who knows, maybe I'll end up trying delve soon! Keep up the hard work :)
MWaever: You touched on some important topics. The one i'm mostly invested in is the visual clusterf*ck that is Delirium. Thankfully it's also a topic that has frequently come up either as a highlight, or in tandem with the overall discourse on visual clarity lately.
Ggg has largely ignored this discourse for years, but with the advent of poe 2, I feel like the we've reached a boiling point where they're forced to rethink. Videos like these help articulate why it's important for GGG to act, so thanks for that.
As for implicit movement speed on boots, we know from an interview about six months ago ( i think DM conducted it) that they do not view mandatory stats on items as problematic, something i vehemently disagree with as does veterans like Sirgog. A lot can change in 6 months, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for this one.
The devaluation of currency is perhaps the most complex issue to solve for GGG, and it's one that will never fully be in their control. On one hand we need more currency sinks in general, but regular exalts also got devalued with the introduction of its greater and perfect variants; yet I think most would agree that the introduction of tiered currency has overall been a net-positive.
And then theres behavioral psychology and emergent patterns involved as well. You say that the exalt is a basic trading currency, but this is largely because a largely because a sizeable chunk of the playerbase tacitly and arbitrarily believes it so. But the chaos orb, just to give an example, seems to be more resistant to inflation (atleast it used to be when i was playing).
As such, some perceptual flexibility from the players on what constitutes 'core' currencies may be required, and I suspect that this will be one of the hardest problems to solve, and most definitely won't happen overnight.
But that's enough yapping - thanks for chippin' in.
asdfcsa41fas: First! Hello
Akimbo_PK: I agree 100% with 100% of these points.
Rain1: Pausing in the options menu would be good but if I remember a workaround is if you open your passive tree then open the options menu it should stay paused
iqraltirona: SWORDS!
Uber_GoobTube: Dedicated Sprint button is kind of based.
Noksivs: The devs have not said that they won't add delve into poe2, nor that the atlas is its replacement. In fact Jonathan have said that his favourite league mechanic in POE1 is delve. So I would say it is almost certain they will add it, the question is when.
KosmatyWilczek: I often skip first ascendency points for the same reason. Sanctum sucks.
ВячеславШолохов-ф9п: I personally love Sekhema trial! It's so much more fun than regular mapping, i just hope they buff non-currency and non-gem chests. Usually you open them since you have keys still and nothing comes out, because of your item filter. Sucks.
epyjacek: I think they believed the we would sink exalts into items. Maybe we could sink exalts into adding map modifiers or even a simple crafting bench with a few key crafts, like resistance swapping or even meta mods. We'll see what happens.
Insen4: Great vid! 100% agree about sekhemas it's deeply unfun.
I think they will try to persist with the infinite atlas.
elios7623: yeah, how tf didn't they add swords? or axes
I'm also waiting on flails, really wanna see how they play
also also the idea of guaranteed drops on maps like delve is brilliant
