BioMasterZap: Didn't they also talk about more charm slots in general before? There is that bug where it sometimes shows a "second row" of charms like for skills, so if we ever did see more charms as a baseline, then a mageblood for charms would go even crazier.
But I really hope charms get a revamped modifiers. At the moment, they are a bit shallow and samey compared to how you could roll flasks in POE1. Though I could see them expanded with a socket or enchantment instead of just new mods since POE2 doesn't have alts to reroll mods. Like needing to roll a perfect speed mod or such would be so much rarer in POE2 without alts, so tying a new mod like that to another upgrade layer could work better and also allow it to buff unique charms too.

leong5940: if mageblood in poe2 can't apply unique charm, then with current available charm, i think this belt is pretty useless compare to other unique belt like HeadHunter.
I think they will add more charm to make it poe1 again, or change it to apply 1st 2 or 3 charm slot (no matter unique or magic) any time when they have available charge (maybe with increase charge gain so the best belt will active charm constantly or something like apply charm for 5s with cooldown 2s)

lynx_1028: I think they mentioned that it will have a pretty crazy roll range, so in my opinion it will be that magic charms gain 0-20 charges every second and activate their effect when they reach full charges, it would make the most sense with saying that it will be a divine sink, make it really powerful for guard (which idk how it would work if it was always on) and ofc it might have even 2 mods like -20%/ 20% charm charges gained (balanced with how many charges you gain per second) i think they will still aim for a top 25%(maybe 10%) roll percentile that gets you perma uptime on charms. I put a similar take on the reddit post that discussed the trinket slot, i think we have seen that slot appear more than once in poe2 and it wasn't connected to anything so i think people are reading too much into it.

Lagalpb: Yeah, if they make MB works like PoE1 but with charms, there's no way they are not adding new ones or buffing the current ones.
As of right now, a regular belt with triple T1 resistances and 3 other mods like HP/stat/MP alongside 3 charms would be better than a MB. That's why I think changes are coming if MB works like PoE1.

Frankleitor: with the right investment you can get like 8 charm slots or maybe more theorically, since we can't get over 3 atm, all that passives and posible investments are useless sadly, I expect for it to change soon, hopefully with this update
judaszuechtung1085: i think, they want to prevent, that you can put magebloods main ability on an rune. So my prediction is that you can only autmate the charm in the extra slot

celwenileran2135: I think it's going to be a busted belt that gives you 3 charm slots. Making you regenerate charm charges. However, it adds a 4th charm socket stating that it's effect is applied constantly or every few seconds.
HOWEVER. To make whatever Jonathan said, it will be one of X amount of charm types you can roll. Say you get a golden charm, you will be only able to put golden charms there. Meaning, you have to constantly reroll your Mageblood in order to get best in slot for you.
