I had convinced myself to go Cyclone this league, and seeing the build's tier according to Fubgun kind of discouraged me but in the end, I'm going with it anyway because it's the gameplay I enjoy the most.

Every league, it’s the same cycle: his builds are “the only correct ones,” and anything else is “cope,” “trash,” or some version of “you’re too dumb to understand.”

“Bows suck now.” “If you’re not farming 10 divs on day 1, you’re bad.”

It’s exhausting.

The arrogance is unreal. It kills creativity and pushes away players who just want to enjoy the game on their own terms. This isn’t confidence—it’s a superiority complex dressed up as expertise. And way too many people eat it up without question.

Last league, LS was “the best” because he said so. As someone who’s been playing PoE1 for over 10 years, let me tell you: even with a fully geared LS character, that skill feels clunky and sucks ass. Just because a streamer declares something as gospel doesn’t make it true.

Same with Volcanic Fissure of Snaking. Would anyone have even looked at that skill if he hadn’t said it was the best? Suddenly everyone’s running it, despite there being 10–15 other builds that are just as strong (if not stronger), more fun, and less clunky.

So seriously—how much longer are we going to let one guy strangle community creativity for clout? When did PoE stop being about exploring and experimenting, and start being about worshipping streamers?

I get literal goosebumps just hearing his name now. Sorry, but he’s toxic for the PoE1 community. Period.
