Is Trade League OK? How The POE 2 Economy Broke 0.4.0 Path of Exile 2

SilentSingularity: I'm level 90 and I've gotten 3 divs ever in this league. Feels like I'm playing an entirely different game from some folks.

YesExit: People didn't quit 3.24 (Necropolis league) because of the broken economy. They quit because it was tedious to learn, tedious to trade corpses, and tedious to manage corpses. Additionally, storing the corpses required a ton of stash tabs which a lot of people didn't have and didn't want to get

Phrecia suffered greatly from "Settlers fatigue". Additionally it was too limited in time for non-dedicated players. For them the high price to buy the expensive OP idols was either never obtained or obtained too late to make (big) profits

edwardsilver4012: I was joining a leeching group yesterday. And I kid you not , Ive seen more loot in one temple run than I have in my 1500 hours playing PoE 2.

Every room had multiple divine. There was even a Mirror of Kalandra and a Hinekora Lock right next to each other. (The guy posted it on Reddit yesterday too)

Leeching just half a day with those people gave me 40 divine (we got paid for each mirror , lock etc that dropped) and 20 million gold.

It is literally more profitable to increase other peoples loot than to farm my own at this point.

idoneitatemlususnaturae802: Thanks for not trying to gaslight people and respecting the viewer's intelligence.

ShadowoftheDarkgod: People didn't like 3.24 because of picking up corpses. I hated seeing corpses so much i filtered them.

swapnajoynath1478: Rakhiata’s flow is 50 div now almost. I bought one for 27 div many days ago. And then i dropped one and sold it back for 27. Wish i held onto it

PaiMei_WL: As an SSF player, I have to say

HA HA

Brillanty: so much currency they don't even pick exalted orb anymore

adriangodoy4610: about affliction and necroplis. Affliction was big loot for everyone . Necropolis was big loot for no lifers that's why people prefered affliction

cirian6485: The problem I have with the buffs they added to the temple was that they were almost explicitly targetted at the players who had a whole TON of time and effort and will to research and plan into it.

The buffs done to the temples offered very little benefit to people who played only a bit, maybe got 6 crystals in an hour at most, and did no significant planning on the layout of their temple. Just placed rooms in the brighter green squares the way GGG intended. For those people, the buffs took the temple from offering almost no rewards, to still offering almost no rewards.

On the other hand, for people who researched and use tools to plan out super optimal temple layouts, utilizing crazy room chains and large numbers of spymasters guaranteeing as many lock medallions as needed preventing any temple collapse and super optimal room layouts, they had their returns absolutely magnified to absurd levels.

I dont know how they need to do it, but the rewards from the temple need to have their floor raise and ceiling lowered.

pajlatek: Best POE news ever made, almost better than regular TV news. Too bad GGG doesn't watch You.

AnothererKiwi: Happy New Year from a happy SSF player...

jamerz44: I love this sort of discussion, the flow of the economy is always interesting and this is a wild one! I just wish poeninja tracked as many things for poe2 as it does for 1. Also just fyi mr sirgog, there is a small editing error at 10.44 :P

ElewIV: The trick is to just run a ton of abyss, ritual, and breach and be shocked how rich you feel holding omens and catalysts.

DardyGamer: The temple is broken but its also not fun to set up or run

jonnyke7090: Happy new year to you brother

justsomerandomguyman: Another part of why fracturing orbs are so expensive is that The Immured Fury does not spawn anymore at all. He's been bugged since the launch of 0.4. He does not exist in the game currently.

Reliquarium: Not sure what Exalted Orbs are supposed to be for after the first week. Don't think GGG fully thought through the removal of the crafting bench and real currency sinks. I'd love to see the lowest tier of runes removed and the crafting bench added. Having actual

Almater217: GGG brought a Toucan into the game, and a few days later, the economy is in ruins.

retretlol: Fracturing orb price has nothing to do with Temple inflation. The Immured Fury is the only source of them and he's bugged at the moment and not spawning.

andreasbrey6277: Dear SIRGOG, it is TIME to grap yourself (and ourselves) a good drink, say cheers and utter the obvious statement: SIRGOG has brought us joy in 2025 and is, hands down, the best PoE-youtuber in the known universe! Best Wishes

PlamoTherapy: Tecrod's Gaze was 13 div yesterday. 20 div when I checked a few hours ago.

NickRigas-rd3zv: My issue with phrecia and 0.4 is that the rewards are gated behind very specific strats/set ups and if you dont look them up, (in the case of phrecia either spend hours crafting idols or spend hundreds of divine) or choose to partake in the unintended gameplay, you dont get anything special. thats why I loved affliction, everyone had access to it

mohammeddhiaa6466: Phrecia was my favorite league ever.

Idols let me customize the content I wanted to play to the max level and I did some crazy crazy juicing to all kinds of mechanics (Not the broken rogue exile one). Also the new acendencies were insane and I loved them so much, specially architect of chaos. I just wish they bring back phrecia acendencies in a 4 month league.

Astarte-m5l: Ima turn into a ssf player and learn to craft fr
