Im ALREADY Back to PoE2...Heres Why pathofexile2 lastepoch arpg

Dasgroffe: I do enjoy LE, but nothing compares to PoE2 for me even in its current state !

screamer22222: I'm enjoying last epoch a lot to be honest. Yes, I agree about the feel in the combat, and the graphics overall. The animations etc, but last epoch has such a good game design in terms of systems, crafting, activities. For now I'm gonna stay on last epoch and have fun, but I'm happy to come back to Poe in the future. And I'm also looking forward to the next league in poe1 too (still my favourite game in terms of systems and complexity)

kivivikix: LE's gearing just feels a lot better than poe2's

andersley7107: Same here man! Played LE for all of Sunday and most of Monday. Monday afternoon I was like "let me just boot op PoE2 for at bit. Holy shit, the difference in the feel of the moment to moment gameplay. I can't go back to LE now. PoE 2 has effectively ruined all other ARPG's for me. I'd rather play that, even with no meaningful loot progression. It just feels THAT good to play.

lorddelanghe666: Yeah, PoE 2 has good gameplay, but I just can't care when there are only 3 viable builds at all times, no loot, no crafting, no built-in in loot filter, no QoL outside of paid tabs, no freedom in gearing... etc

Tuloth: I have been really enjoying LE this time around, this is my first time ever making it to Empowered Monoliths. I actually went back to PoE 2 and did another map just to compare, I enjoyed the FEEL of PoE 2 more, but I did not enjoy getting demolished by random white mobs either. After playing Last Epoch and my paladin practically being immune to damage, I don't love that either. Feels like it's hard to find the sweet spot.

vt6020: The general "feel" of the combat in PoE 2 is miles ahead of any ARPG that I've played. Just fix the drops and crafting and this game could go down as the best ARPG fever made.

Zaggy_Grinn: Have fun my dude! I got the reverse feeling. I left last epoch for POE 2, now am coming back. But it just makes me enjoy LE more in every way. Judt love the class and build designs work super well for me. Maybe when POE 2 drops druid ill come back. But its just not for me

blasphemicwhale: Idk. There were so many frustrating moments in my few hundred hours of gameplay in PoE2, more than any other game. It’s not just loot and gear progression. Every aspect of the game has the intention of friction- there’s about 200 things that need to be fixed from needing to refill at the well, forced Honour system in the trial, forced RNG for your class progression, RNG affixes on your gear impacting currency drop rate, etc. etc. etc.

The game has fantastic bones, movement combat and graphics are great- production quality is all there. But let’s not pretend that there are some colossal issues with game direction. Moving while attacking and the graphics/sound effects are the only places where PoE2 excels over its competition currently.

randar1969: It's not about which side is right it's about what you want to play most.

Buffalo9393: All this talk about stopping tribalism… you’re the one fueling it at this point man.

beentoldtwice: I never left lol, roughing it out. I have faith they’re going to fix it

Yamael: I enjoy that LE respects me as an SSF player. PoE2 combat feels amazing, but I can't shake the feeling that the game is made only with trade in mind and I'm playing hard mode by refusing to engage with it. And I hate that feeling because I want to engage with both PoE and PoE2 and see the pinnacle content but unless I put more hours than I'm willing to or engage with other players and supress my anxiety I'll never be able to.

gus3143: I’ve been watching streamers playing LE and I can’t figure out why they say that game is better. From the get go they are slamming mobs, just zooming, graphics are lame.

Epiko1: I completely agree with you Tri, Path of Exile's moment to moment is SO good. It is by far the best on the market. I highly prefer playing PoE2 over any other ARPG because of the game feel of PoE2.

The base of Path of Exile 2 is too damned good, it makes it impossible to compete with, in my opinion. At least for games that are currently out.

thelawgameplaywithcommenta2654: I think this is why PoE2 will always be bigger than LE (it has more players across platform). Game fundamentals are the MOST important yet can be hard to do right. You can hook people for way longer with game feel alone, but much less people can enjoy mechanics without it.

You can even make games that intentionally feel bad and make it satisfying and engaging enough to make people like it, but it has to be done right and last epoch don't have it.

jonahsmith8595: D3 was what got me into the genre and I just vibe with LE way more because it reminds me of d3 with the cartoonish and bright attacks as well as having sets and just killing things and having fun without trying overly hard. Poe2 I think will definitely be better in the long run but I like le more rn

lukejohnson3149: I 100% agree with you here Tei. This is a very reasonable take, and I applaud your balanced style of video.

erikes3734: Loving LE! Having meaningful character progression and defenses that impact gameplay is keeping me hooked! Wish ggg would steal LEs armor formula

lssthnthr3: I think you are right. LE lacks a true weight and feel to the combat and monster deaths. But overall it doesnt bother me as much as you. Which is fine. I totally get your take. It was shocking to my system for the first day or 2.

Poe really should have waited to release.

timothylaveau: Well that's good to hear. GGG can get loot to where you like it and get devs back on Poe1. I'll just play LE until then. I'll check out PoE2 when/if they make it an actual ARPG.

lancepowell1965: Honestly I feel exactly the same, items progression and crafting is 100x better in LE but the combat feels cartoony not visceral like poe2. Gonna mess with it for a bit but definitely going back to poe2 sooner or later

rdkone33: I love LE and have been having a lot of fun. It does so much right. I know exactly what you mean though, something about it just feels lacking to me. There's no weight or impact to the combat, a lot of the attack's audio sound like place-holders. I'll do a huge attack for tons of damage but it doesn't look or feel like I did anything at all.

abahgaming2143: Good for you! It’s the opposite for me. I’m really enjoying LE and can’t stop playing it. I don’t care much about the combat. The endgame system, loot, and crafting in LE Season 02 are just really good. I’ll probably keep playing until the next PoE2 season drops.

romancervek1218: I love how he somehow still believes GGG will abandon their entire vision and start making poe2 for the entertainment of their customers. The problem is not the game, but the leaderships vision that drives it down to a point nobody wants to play it, even if they are paid for it (streamers). They can make a great game, but they dont want to. Their entire mindset needs a complete rework and getting fixed, by a shovel.

thewildknight: Playing LE and not missing PoE2 at all right now

kennyhouser3467: If you're going off of graphics and combat feel, I hate to say it, but it's true, then you should be playing D4. They have the best "feel" for combat out of all of them and their art department is pretty much the only thing that keeps them afloat these days. Remember, that's not to say D4 is a better game than either LE or PoE2, but if those things are your metric, D4 is the best.
