Brother--X: I opted to not reroll my monk. You can make a decently strong ice strike build without herald of ash eventually. With Collapsing Horizon and a max crit roll, paired with every crit chance perk in the monk tree and the one south of the quarter staff nodes, and atleast 20% crit from your gear you can hit 100% crit. With that said because the damage from the staff is low you need as many attack modifiers as you can get from your rings/gloves. Preferably elemental modifiers because the staff buffs elemental damage from attacks.
