How the Stars Aligned for the BREAKOUT Build of 3.26! Path of Exile Secrets of the Atlas

PopersIRL: right but how does the scarab or risk impact the trout population

emattera6391: Meta is dicted by a single scarab : risk. Remove risk scarab and the meta goes back to "normal"

Borbop-p6e: I really hope we get more meta defining scarabs so every strat isn't just a shuttle for risk scarabs.

Also one of the massive buffs is that whispers of infinity lets you reserve mana still which is just blood magic but better in alot of cases.

Trypan: Fuck. Has it already been 5 weeks? Been having too much fun so thought it has only been 2-3 weeks. Im so cooked.

einseinstein2: I really liked your analysis of how everything worked together but TBH this popularity is all about streamers releasing a build. I played this whole league with penance brand poison Elementalist. Its has incredible clear speed, DOT cap, very good defenses AND in a 10 div budget, (yes, but you know, jung and pal release a build and everything gets overpriced. I payed 60c in my despair Balance of Terror 2 days before they made the videos), but nobody know cuz no streamer made the guide.

So, i think you could make another video about how streamers impact the game and how people play the game.

victorz63: great analysis but damn when i read the title i thought the video would feature build with Venarius' Astrolabe

RamenTraveler-r1y: Meanwhile any Strike skills not named Smite or MSOZ are dead in the water forever, no stars aligning can save them

blahblahgdp: Meanwhile starcaller is severely underpowered, as usual lol

NEETinRecovery: When the meta is defined by just straight up disabling builds with stupid

qwer4790: FROSS a merc with garb of ephemeral ES leech/ES gain on block ES on hit watcher's eye = literally ignored any negative map mod

it immunes to reflect, no regen, petrification status which are some of the most build bricking t17 mods, so you can just freely farm t16.5 with risk scarab without worrying about any stupid map mods bricking your build.

Absolutely crazy.

andreasdelsing6764: Meanwhile fishing has never been more profitable

LordNerfherder: I think this is a little too shallow for an indepth analysis a month in. This analysis would have been interesting first week, but coming to a conclusion that es is good and not dying from soul sacrifice isnt indepth enough to warrant interest. We all see this on poe ninja and the thousands of videos of these builds.

shadowbreaker6027: not a lightning build so cannot be that good

paulmanby384: Delete Risk Scarab please. Boring AF

ahmadashraf9448: Energy Shield have always been a broken 'defence' every single league.

Allowing 'defence' to scale with damage is the reason why ES is leap and bound is better than life, armor or evasion.

Crustle1: I like when new leagues inspire new builds like this! Haven't played this myself as already have a gg mapper, but probs doing a HC grind so will keep it in mind

Flying1Kotte: I played the coc variant this league and it was a dream. Super comfy clear, easy melding of flesh with flasks that gain charges on crit, instant leech is still insane.

Comfiest league I have played.

ElicatrothTV: You forgot to mention how the gem itself was also buffed by 33%. It was 15% on release up till this patch, and now its 20%. The self hit portion however also took a nerf which I think was counter productive to its design, since the reason no one uses the gem wasnt that it didnt scale well, but that it just was impossible or too costly to find a method to scale both your life recovery and your ES at teh same time without Chaos Inoculation. You were stretched in every direction.

Honestly I don't think this build will get nerfed, at least not its standard CoC version. I suspect the ES scaling buff will be nerfed back to its original value, maybe even pulled back a little further from that. The Amulet will be rarer and probably also have a lot less flat ES on it. From there, I suspect it will remain perfectly viable, just not super overpowered. Much like the current version of standard Forbidden Rite builds, they are nerfed from their glory days but still a perfectly playable build. I don't think this will be nuked from high orbit unless they remove the amulet itself.

pannicc: what I really appreciate about these meta breakdowns is how you and others go over the specific mechanics and what they do/provide to the build because that can give me ideas to incorporate thsoe things into my own build. especially casters since I only really play right side of tree characters.

m1xxx3r: Lets be honest, Whispers of Infinity were made for both FRoSS and Wild Strike of Extremes

trad5479: Great vid however I disagree that you can't make berserker super tanky. I made a really tanky one in SSF with 90 max res, 100% spell suppression and defiance of destiny with almost 6k life and it does all the content very well( T17's, Ubers, risk scarab maps).

taiwanisacountry: I am actually going to transit to soul sacrifice.

Kadamose: It's an okay build. Chieftan Cast When Stunned is a much better build imo. The CWS 2.0 rework can run all mods, including multiple risk scarabs. Unfortunately, at 400 divine, it's not a cheap build, but it is vastly superior to the forbidden rite of soul sacrifice. No contest.

SenatorBanana: fross is mid imo, trickster is still king unfortunately until they nerf (which they bloody well should). There are glads out there clearing void valdos but they're keeping their builds on the DL (basically just smite/ms ci trickster build but on glad with lucky block/es on block lmao).
