raicoron3466: It's not quite "just lucky crit" because of the 30% less. I mapped out the impact of Mistic Infusion Bifurcate in a spreadsheet and it does some funny stuff. You're gaining about 4-6% chance to crit at most critical strike values when you click the node. This peaks at 44%~ crit where it increases your effective crit chance by 8%~ to 51.8% effective crit chance. At around 83% chance to crit it actually starts to go negative. This means that if you click the node while between 83-100% crit chance on your character sheet you're losing effective crit chance. It peaks at exactly 100%; Clicking the node brings your effective crit down to 91% chance. You have to get 43% more critical strike chance to overcome the 30% less and reach 143% crit chance to reach crit cap with mystic infusion.

Keep in mind this is just crit chance; it has nothing to do with damage. You gain damage at every value of crit chance and crit multi. You realistically will get about 15-30% more dps from the node on league start in cruel, and it will scale up from there as you get more crit on gear and tree. The hyperbolic diminishing returns allows you to reach those really big damage gain numbers really fast and realistically.

which means at 50% crit you already have 56.25% chance to deal Bifurcated crit damage

nr1771: Another important thing to note is that the Deathmarked increased mark effect and instant leech is based on your MAXIMUM power charges, not your current power charges. So even if you don't have your power charges up for some reason you still get the full benefit.

Off topic a bit but assassin does a bit of power charge

dddmemaybe: It's not 78% it's 80%. At 500% crit multi you increase damage on a Bifurcate by (500-100) 400, to 900%. 900/500 is 1.80. You don't the value between the two top-spots on the spreadsheet because any value over 100% "real" chance to crit after the penalty doesn't do anything. So 200% chance before penalty or 150% chance before penalty won't give more dps.
