BG_Andy: I'm still disappointed by the lack of creativity that GGG has shown about their crafting system. It's so uninspired. All those little patches won't fix the bigger problem - boring crafting. Unless they come up with something that tickles my interest, I might as well play POE1 which has a flawed crafting system as well, but at least I have a ton of options to pick from.
pedepot: They could also stop having Temporal Chains show up on what feels like 20% of all map mods, lol!

OneTato: Move speed should be implicit on boots at increasing smount depending on level so we can use the other stats more often.
TheZackzable: idk, getting res capped was already really hard, if they add bis sockets, it just means we will never use resistances socket and are back to find 1 upgrade, and you must change every item to somehow get ur resi cap. Somehow for me that means basically back to having nothing if you dont trade everything
junk3996: you touch on the big problem right at the start.
the big problem is everything basically has to be balanced around trade - which means if you're not trading, the game feels like trash. every single live service online economy arpg is going to be this way, except save for last epoch who kinda solved the difference between the two by separating the two.
lately im highly preferring single playing arpgs due to this. playing an arpg and actually getting to craft gear and tinker around with things and freely respec builds or w/e else feels so so good, and is exactly the way i enjoy my arpgs.

The1rust: Runes and socketables gives them an opportunity to do their own take on rune words which would be a lot of fun and add extra depth to the game so long as they avoid the pitfall of making items like Grief.
In terms of crafting though it feels like more of an illusion rather than adding depth because of how bad the baseline crafting experience still is especially for those in SSF. You'd be almost more likely to slap these in to something you'd find rather than get lucky pulling the slot machine lever several times which says even more about the state of crafting.
If the crafting system wasn't awful and they introduced these then that'd be a whole different story.

TalkativeTri: Pretty excited about some of these, wonder how rare they'll be and what's going to happen once the pool is soooo diluted.
Of course the talismans & soul cores can be "target farmed", but runes? It's gonna be prettttty crazy.

nethstar: The one thing I've said about runes is, adding more runes, but making them really rare, is not really hitting the target of runes being replacements for the crafting bench.

junk3996: the problem with gem level scaling and how good its damage scaling is, is how much it also scales the cost.
you still get skills costing 1000 mana or life to cast a single time, which is absolutely absurd IMO

Greamzih: In other words, now you have to buy a socketables stash tab. How some people call POE a free game is beyond my imagination. So far it's not that bad - I was going to buy it at the next sale anyway. But so much attention to runes makes me think they may increase the price for the tab.

ADVGuiltyParty: Let’s be honest this approach was to sell tabs but yea it’s an improvement. The crafting bench condensed all this and was more immersive for an rpg. The core crafting is still an issue with the repetitive ID transmute aug drop routine so we’ll see how this goes. Chase items always a good thing though.
antixdevelopment1416: Its a pity the patch is delayed for like another week. That volatile plant balance can;t come fast enough and I really think they could have rolled that out as a small patch if it is working okay.
jessewhite1679: They should add more creative ways to improve movement speed on gear and passive tree and/or add more movement skills as well as put somthing good enough to compete with movement speed on boots like burning steps or somthing fun.
insecurecomb1822: I would have to look at the other class reveals, but I believe huntress was just fast to show that huntress was a faster class, not to say that that is what the pace of the game.
