Smorccc: Hey Jorgen at some point this league you should revisit your staff warrior.

Smith of Kitava got good buffs and increases for the fire spell on hit scaling. The wind skills on staff can spread ignites. Could we see a flamewall on hit and spreading the ignite with wind blast perhaps? Or maybe a detonate dead or fireball on hit with actual scaling now that there will be spell-attack passives on the tree?

andrewbishop869: I find the merc with grenades the easiest to start with, but this league will start with a druid. For poe2 will always go a new class build first for league start.

Drevnark: I like the idea of shapeshifting with other classes other then Druid. I am looking forward to seeing what those builds look like. I do think I am going to start with Volcanic Titan though and let the dust settle on all the druid stuff first.

I got a poison version to work last league on chonk, but I fell off hard late game but whirling assault didn’t do enough without stagger palm. With both buffed and wind skills scaling ignite prolif, I’m league starting it like an idiot again

its resonating shield/fortifying cry/shield wall titan. im going to use two uniques, constricting command and couture of crimson. using armour shield and evasion boots/gloves to stack an adequate amount of armour and evasion and armour applies to ele some deflect. stacking evasion stops you from gathering stun when actively blocking so you can continually and without worry be casting resonating shield.

resonating shield will be used mostly as QoL to support the main damage, fortifying cry's shield wave. single target is using shield wall to pop off all of your shield waves at once, along with its own damage and can easily one shot bosses with a decent shield.

instead of trying to stack too much armour and evasion or ES and have very little life, i'll stack adequate defensive numbers upwards of 50% worths and focus on stacking life. with couture of crimson buff i should be able to get upwards of 6k life without insane investment, and i can have a bit of focus on life leech.

with some life leech on gear/supports i'll have plenty of life leech and sustain with the option to pick up Thirst of Kitava for instant leech on empowered attacks (half my attacks) if need be. with constantly actively blocking with adequate evasion, mitigation, and awesome sustain i should feel insanely tanky.

you do need to cast fortifying cry all the time but with a focus on rage on hit/rage when hit you can easily keep the uptime as 100%, where each warcry will give 5-7 attacks until cast again. on single target when you break shield wall with fortifying cry it'll expend all shield waves to shotgun the boss with an incredible burst of damage.

jussikankaansydan5645: I respect your comment not looking or taking any kind of Druid stuff under consideration, but when everything has came out would you look into a WW Alpha pack Leader approach with Tactician, What I saw was, wolfs (allies or ally) and freeze damage, Mercenary can start with Ailment chance, and build towards those effects, and If talisman is only one-handed weapon they can get even more ailment chance and damage, Banners for fast pack might not be a bad idea, and tactician will buff allies and gain buffs from allies in Presence, if I don't recall wrong, Surrounded -effect has also synergies with allies.
