aryabloodborn8160: iirc there were strong feedback that white mobs not giving flask charges felt bad so GGG changed it quite recently
TalkativeTri: The biggest imo is definitely Gems/Gear, followed by WASD. Wild stuff!
chifors2172: my favourite change is every support gem only available once
Balorian: Great video, you captured exactly what I'm looking forward too. WASD is top of that list along with minions!
ScribletAndBits: Fantastic Vid, but I spotted one possible error.
In the Witch Trailer reveal, Equipping the Scepter is what grants 100 Spirit, base spirit was 0. With the Scepter equipped, they were at 100 spirit (not 200).
Subscribed btw :D. Your production quality/content is a bit better than most of the creators I've seen so far.
I created the most played Necro Build this season of D4, but I looked at the Witch trailer under a microscope in my most recent vid and god damn, it's soooo much better than D4's handling of minions.
Side note, I've been using WASD in Diablo since Season 4 and it far superior than mouse movement. Being able to keep your mouse on target while dodging mechanics drastically lowers APM requirements and increases mouse accuracy. And PoE 2's implementation is so, so much better than Diablo's.
I'm looking to meet other creators in the PoE 2 community to share notes, hopefully we get chatting someday soon :D
off-meta-michael: I think you got the spirit bit wrong. Characters do not start with 100 spirit from what i can tell from more recent playthroughs. For example, there was a co-op monk and warrior playthrough where an optional boss gave them an item to reserve 30 spirit and they were then able to equip their first reservation skill gem.
KeaneKamina: WASD movement is king. put all your skills on your side mouse buttons and call it a day.
TwistdTrip: Had to check comments after that flask bit, not because I knew they changed them to allow white mobs but just because that sounds like a nightmare if they hadn't.
riddlese: RIP Diablo
johnnyp6202: Bosses resetting is something I do not think survives the beta. Souls-like and action RPGs are different genres and I feel that many ARPG enthusiasts do not want a sous-like experience. It has such dramatic effects on balancing. If Searing Exarch and Maven reset every time you died how many would EVER clear them? If they do this that means that you have to for the most part avoid one shot abilities that are not almost blatantly telepgraphed. And if you did that it might make the game trivial for better players In current POE content "you die through content" by using multiple portals but in POE it would "you die through content" to learn and memorize the fight. They are very very different feeling mechanics. Personally I am not a fan of the souls-like loop so POE2 could miss the mark with me if that is what they want.
