idontevengame1: I feel like the people massively let down all of the WOW content creators by telling them that iron man is the only worthwhile game mode. Playing a main, especially your first play through, is still extremely rewarding and there are still massive grinds. You still get the same feelings of accomplishment but the goals and the way you play are different. Then when you play an iron it lets you appreciate the game in a different way once again. Of course the biggest problem is that as streamers they would likely be donated millions and billions of GP which actually would ruin the experience. If they were able to play without taking donations they could still enjoy the game on a main first which would probably be more enjoyable to many.

C8.H1_N4-O2: I got an ironman to solo 150s toa within 22 days playtime. The game does not take long AT ALL anymore with all the ironman updates

MwoMwoOSRS: He should probably de-iron. But ff he does start over I think Xar should START as a Bronzeman. I think people would watch it. I think people are LESS interested if someone "downgrades" to a bronzeman. If he was bronzeman off rip I think people would be more receptive of it

No one would recommend that in good faith, but runescape viewers and creators just kinda force it upon them.

SoulCh3f: i don't think he should play ironman unless he is willing to dedicate like 1 year to OSRS. That would give him to experience a lot of mid/end game content. Otherwise it's just a cycle of starting an ironman, playing for a few months, then quitting and never experiencing some of the best content. if he's willing to dedicate some time then ironman is so good for streamers because if it gives them a natural progression of content to stream. If he's going to play for a few months then yeah a main would probably be better

OrangeOVL: Tbh. the world system is something I really don't like in OSRS and I think it would be really bad for wow. There are big cons to the OSRS system. First thing is the worlds don't feel organic at all. In wow you run into the same people time and time again. That just does not happen in OSRS. The biggest con for me is pvp and I am actually surprised that that was something people did not talk about, when they were proposing changes for the wildy. World hopping sucks, for both sides. As a PKer you jump hundreds of worlds to surprise PVMers and the reality is in 50% of the times the entire pvp comes down if the person loggs out fast enough. It becomes hide and seek instead of preparation, skill and teaming up. Imagine you couldn't switch worlds or even log out in the wildy, it would change completely how to approach pvm and pking.

Unlogiik: Deironing would make him quit that much quicker. Iron is the most authentic rs2/2007scape experience.
