Ricardo_Rick: After getting 21k dry thieving vyres i can confidently say: i will NEVER go back to that accursed place.

Here is a strategy for redemption i used: use ancient brews, they are way cheaper than any other prayer regen and you only need to have prayer to activate redemption, so it you restore 8 prayer then as long as the vyre hits you bellow 10% hp before those few prayer points go out you can just use that, that made me save a lot of money.

Jambunctious: Maybe im giving away secret tech, but theres a house halfway to hallowed supulcher where you can trap a vyre to thieve from on its spawn point using an aggressive vyrewatch. This means you dont need to move at all and can just keep dodgy necks and a few prayer regen pots and stay in the same spot for hours.

stephenhannon6141: love the vids mudkip! more fit for the redemption method for long trips, but there's a house halfway along your run from the medallion tele where you can trap a vyre on its respawn point, so you literally never have to move until you're out of supplies. the setup takes less than a min (often just a few seconds) and uses a sentinel to block the other side, so if you've completed BMR, you'll need to buy a garlic cocktail from the werewolf near the medallion tele for the re-aggro (-1 inv spot :'( ). but mega chill and i used it to nab 8 shards otw to 99. take care!
