amorty456: IRL Keel's are supposed to be help ships navigate upwind by providing stability.. I imagine there's going to be waters which we can't get through without a strong enough Keel, so I imagine it's going to be pretty important for exploration/unlocking methods.

Gotenhanku: I do want to point out that you will NOT need to build a cargo hold on your raft after the quest because it will already be there from the quest itself and you are given the supplies to build it during the quest as part of the quest.
