suffer8318: 2025 was average at best.. Wasn't even worth playing this game most of the summer. Came back for Sailing that was very mediocre at least for now. Pvm & slayer updates were actually worth while though.

Forged4War206: The massive inflated player counts have all been mostly due to bots, and you're dense if you think otherwise. Notice how the player count dropped off a cliff after they had that huge bot nuke a few months ago? Now bots are back in full swing and the counts have been steadily rising back up again.

Emptynogin1: Something that they've specifically done well with this year is that most of these changes feel very impactful in a good way. In previous years I would say that they don't necessarily add bad content, but sometimes it feels like stuff is added that just doesn't matter that much.

this year was pretty much hit after hit, except sailing. my expectations for next year remain tepid because it would be very hard (potentially bad for the game) to top itself every year.

Pipo_Gaming: ironically i tried wow and it did not feel grindy enough lol my guild members would complain about grinding notes, gold and resources or lvs and i was sitting their thinking this is not a grind try got for a 99 agility

I play on mobile 90% of the time, only swapping to pc when I want to do raids or something.

You can ignore every update we've had this entire year because 1 thing improved my QOL more than anything else. Period.

In Nov 2024 they added Menu Entry Swapper (Minimenu Re-Ordering) to mobile. Unfortunately, everything reset to default upon a world hop or log out. So it was effectively non-functional.

In January of this year, they figured out how to make your menu settings link to your jagex download ID on mobile, fixing it and allowing it to finally be usable.

Because of that, I am counting Mobile Menu Entry Swapper as a 2025 update.

Never in my life did I think that things like Blast Furnace would now be FASTER on mobile, AND less wrist strain.

The UI updates to mobile have been god tier and have completely changed how the game can be played on mobile.

Nadindel: Sailing shouldn't of come out until mid 2026 when it would of been ok to release
