Grimy_Aaronarr: The best advice I have to get 99s is to do methods you enjoy, or methods you find bearable for over the duration of the skill. 50k XP an hour of something you enjoy, or find bearable (AFK) is better than 300k XP an hour for something you can't do for more than 30 minutes without being burned out

IOFLOOD: crafting battlestaves is almost as fast as dragonhide, much much cheaper, and a bit less click intensive. water and earth make a small profit while fire and air make a small loss but are faster.

DBeefV: I feel you missed something for smithing. While runite bars alone can be a lot less xp per hour, Gold/Runite bar hybrid at the BF can be really good profit, 1m an hour while mixing great with gold's xp, sitting at like 250-270k xp per hour. I'd say its the perfect mix between xp and gp per hour

Votexforxme: Im a Friendly Botter, Take my advice:

1. if youre a normal player always take the profitable way and choose 2-3 skills you can rotate and not burn out on one sigular one, that way you can also look out if one of your skills has a better market at the time you train it.

2. if youre good in boss killing and can make a decent profit from it, then always weight out the time you take to train the skill vs the money you could make killing the boss.

^ - 2.1 if the fast way is cutting in only 60-90% of your killing profits do the fast method since you save a huge ammount of time and still make a profit, when you go back to bossing.

3. if you hate yourself you ignore everything and just go for the profit method doing only 1 skill at a time.

Gotenhanku: Dhide bodies can be profitable depending on hide prices. You can even combine it with tan leather training for magic to source your hides cheaper to open up profit for higher tiers of bodies than you would think.

ghosthunter0404: Honestly for combat skills i recommend afk 10 minutes sand crabs for attack strength and defense and afk at zoo with dwarf cannon for archery you can high alch items that are noted for mage and other methods i have been back on osrs for about 2 weeks and have around 60 in every stat already with loads of quests complete to inlcude both fairy tale quests and monkey madness.

thebishyboy12: Personally, I would disagree with avoiding flower and allotment patches to 99. At 61 farming snape grass is ridiculous xp per patch for a slight extra profit. Planting a white lilly and keeping it there stops allotments from dying and for what's essentially 10 mins added to your farm run you average 40k/h if you do herb runs on cooldown

I grinded 99 mining in one go like 4-5 summers ago and its actually quite time consuming skill and an admirable 99
