lv99roidmage25: Trials demand way too much perfection, if we compare it to the only other trial like content in the game, Hallowed Sepulchre, you can see how punishing Trials are for the sake of getting time for QoL items (extractor gives 36k exp/hr). In Sepulchre you can make mistakes and still reach the end in time, hell you can even buy an item to extend timers 1 minute (as much as you like), in trials if you make 1 mistake it’s an instant reset if you’re just there for the sake of the QoL item

zakuknoxx6060: The only problems with sailing i have is the droprate and amount of rare drops you need to max your boat. 1/17500 for cannon barrel is insane , same goes for all the sheets and dragon hooks you need.

Also the endgame stuff sailing brings is extremely lackluster atm.

Aquenite tendons are dead on arrival, gryphon boss is like 45 so whatever and frost dragons drop only sailing uniques. There is no point going for high levels atm. unless youre going for max cape.

JUKENDUKE: They need to add 4 or 5 major whirlpools that let you teleport around the oceans. They could require different sailing levels / minimum ship requirements or it is RNG if you lose any cargo.

These could almost be like wormholes, letting you traverse vast distances and have another benefit like 20% faster sail speed for 1-2 minutes.

TheGrassman451: I love sailing but I feel like for the buffet it offers a few things are undercooked. I think they should move some of the bonus xp from the crystal extractor to sailing through rapids and change it into some sort of boost... that being said I also think the barracuda trials could use some work besides anything with how it takes up huge swathes of the map. I think these could be separate areas on the map that are accessible from talking to different npcs. The areas they are at should be used for high lvl islands and bosses/ dungeons and I think they should change these at the least. There also needs to be way more monsters and change how the ocmbat works imo. I wish there were ways to recruit fremeniks as well as get a longboat. I think the boat types should have more differentiation too/ one size larger boat that potentially has a lower deck lvl that can have additional storage or things. I also think the crewmates can be changed esp with jolly jim who should have better stats, who cares wah its cosmetic gmafb there should be way more crewmembers and a lvl 85 unlock can look cool and be good. sorry this is a ramble but im sailing lmaoooo; I think rosewood should have no speed limit

lxvwvxl: sailing has so much potential... a sailing boss is going to be sick adding a sailing slayer master some sailing pvp ... imo they should make the fishing more available from lower levels... so you can go fish at like level 30 fishing ... i feel like cannonballs will never be able to get to a viable price ... like you go thru 2k cannonballs in 3 bountys its just not viable. i feel like mith and up all need massive buffs. i got 150 rune cballs from krakens and i used them and was getting the exact same kill times as with steel... i hit more 0s with the rune cballs... i feel like a rune cball should never hit a 0 it should always hit 10 to make it worth using. but a huge bonus for me is that after 3 years putting off my construction i grinded out 78 from 60 in a day :'D also going to grind out my fishing to 64 from 62 so i can start training it on the seas . sailing the best skill to ever happen and has brought the fire back to rs for me

Capybarainahumansuit: I think sailing is the best skill overall added to osrs. It apsolutely has the potential to double the size of the game and content easily without even adding to the total map size. I am really hoping next year they drop a load of pirate and penquin quests. finish both lines lol. also gnomemonkeys video I watched pretty much all of it. I think cargo xp should scale with lv and distance traveled. that would make it much better imo. also the bounty tasks they should just incase the dps of each thing and maybe make another boat fighting mechanic like pvm in osrs. the salvaing and trawling seem ok as theyre mainly afk. also make it easier to grab the pearls... theyre so rare! lol. anyway i think sailing is an amazing update and im enjoying it as someone whos charted the entire ocean and complained a lot during it and trials. I still think its a great skill.
