You can double your magic xp/hr by using spell with it. It would be more expensive but like I said, double the magic xp

You could bring an imbued rune pouch with fire wave and a time of fire with your scepter and hit HUGE damage, all while getting more xp/damage dealt

And you’ll be able to hit big fire waves on pkers too!

It might be worth trying, anyway
