austen8718: If the word of some botters is to be believed, the 6.7T gold removed from the game via the item sink is a drop in the bucket compared to the value that is generated by bot farms. A lot more needs to be done to combat inflation and the devaluing of resources and items.

marshallc6215: One stat i dont see mentioned often enough for afk training is "exp per click/interaction." If I can do all my inventory clicks in 3 seconds then afk for 2 minutes, that's way more beneficial than the same number of clicks done in 15 second intervals, because if I'm only checking in every, say, 5 minutes, my exp rates will be wildly different. The former has more exp per "bit of interaction," if that makes sense.

If you imagine a training method that's high intensity but gives a high amount of exp per click, doing that and afk'ing 99% of the time might be better than some 25 minute training method that gives token exp, because your exp per click/interaction is the thing you care about, not the length of your afk.

TheRealSgtTrulyOdd: Dumb question, but you say to go ahead and go to wintertodt and get the FM outfit, but for 99 it's only saving like 325k xp (assuming you had it at level 1, so even less) which for redwoods would be maybe 2 hours of afk bonfires? Is my math not mathing? It doesn't seem worth to me unless you're going for post 99

JonnyJKF: I feel like your calculation isn't exactly right because traditional firemaking you have at least one inventory spot reserved for a tinderbox and you either start or finish further away from the bank, whereas in your campfire example you just set up a not-a-bonfire right next to the bank and keep yeeting logs at it.

apple54345: anyone looking to bonfire and do quicker banking.. put all your noted logs in your inventory. have the use option already clicked on that stack when burning the final log.. hold the 1 key.. click the banker.. then click the bonfire.. then release the 1 key. the notes are unnoted and the next set is beginning to burn. much quicker than banking.

ctxdd: Thought about trying this myself to see the stats of how it'd work, but figured "wait a few hours and Mudkip will have done it for me". I was right!
