WaZeBoomBox: You can afk trawler more by chopping the tentacles and repairing the railing. You only need an axe and hammer for this. When you reach the minimum points you can AFK the rest of the trawler.

Robotrober1: My new favorite method is to lantern fish the squids w/ a fish barrel. You catch them pretty fast and is the same or more than anglerfish for profit (jumbo ones), plus it's close to a bank if you made the bank chest.

AMK544: Monkfish can still be worth it since, at high levels, you catch them very quickly and it has one of the highest pet drop! I’d rather afk monks til pet instead of FT lol

thisjawn8869: You forgot about the tackle box in Tempoross, you can also fish without a harpoon if you know barbarian barehand fishing, it’s the same amount of time catch rate as a regular harpoon but that’s only if you want the str xp as well

meserbet: Solo tempoross with cooking is decent mix of exp and permits and no cooking is very good exp, both low intensity. Highly suggest them
