parallaxninja456: One of the biggest noob traps are Cerb boot upgrades. So many people sink 20/30 million an don’t even realize how minuscule (if at all) helpful they are. It seems like common knowledge but I know higher level players who seemingly don’t even know this.

The other biggest noob trap is trying to sustain yourself with bonds. If you’re end game spending 40 hours a week raiding then I guess that’s fine, but so many people stunt their account growth because all the money they make gets sunk into bonds.

stinkinhippy1724: I agree with everything you said about the blood fury but I'd like to add that it can be worth taking to many bosses / tasks to extend your trips. Sometimes, switching to a torture to a blood fury for a kill or two to heal up can double your kills per hr which will more than pay for the cost of the blood shard.

silverkeltoi: another way to save on death fees is using some ornament kits as they make items untradeable meaning you keep them on death. this doesn't apply to all kits i think but if you end up dying a lot this can save money in the long term if the kits are cheap enough

DailyDull: Got my first vorkath head last week. Going melee with fang and serp helm helped a lot. Learning the money dragon was a great investment. Went to the house party worlds, d battleaxe spec, rejuv pool, ancient mace on an undead dummy, then dumped all my fang specs at the start of the fight. Made a world of difference.

fuzzythoughts8020: On the blood fury, I feel its important to mention, DO make a bloodfury, its absolutely worth it, but DO NOT use it on anything that hasn't at least come close to killing you, and not just cause you went afk when you shouldn't have. I've had a single gem charge on my blood fury for months, its still over 9800 charges, it only leaves the bank when something specifically calls for it, and thats exactly what a blood fury is for, Extra heals for actual challenges. It's going to see a bunch of use when I start raiding.

alexlehder482: Here’s a great one guys, a lot of people seem to think item protect is for wildy content only, it’s not, my deaths are regularly 500k and using item protect which barely drains your prayer will almost always save me 100k on death fees.

also have antifire pots the mix is 1/4th the cost but with a daily volume of only 9 the price is either off or going to take forever to get enough.

SonBellamy: Biggest money save (before repairing) imo is going to bloodmoon instead of bandos and using fang instead of dhl downgraded to that still getting 1:14 kt at vork(not great but not bad) saved sooo much money still gettin decent gp and able to train a bunch of skills

priitriisman5381: One thing i have always wondered is that why are you selling your Rune Kiteshields and stuff? GE tax takes more money from you than High Alching. In the long run the difference is more than noticeable.
