Webberjo: If a DPS runs ahead of me and pulls, I figure they're trying to refresh a buff or make use of it before it falls off. No big deal, just get aggro and continue.
chairmanalfred8850: Don't really care if dps does it, it's free mitigation.
LittleHobbit13: The timing of the stumbling sounds coming down that ramp though XD
dddking9284: I've had this but it's been a White Mage running far ahead in Dusk Vigil when the tank asked to go slow
timemonkey3619: i've learned to appreciate this a bit more, they usually bring the pack back to me when i tank, just takes a second to pop an aoe to grab aggro so the dps/healer doesn't
melt into sludge in a matter of seconds
PlayfulArtistKitty: Ive stopped caring for the most part
I'll catch up when i catch up or they'll bring it back
The only time it bothers me is when my healer is clearly struggling and im trying to adapt to a better pace for them but the dps goes off anyway
killblade6: "If he dies, he dies"
Elinshir: The ninja is just trying to nourish the Blood Lily it's fine
Rynn21: Feels like everyone is in a rush these days. Love wall to wall, but calm down a bit. Let the tank load in.
Nextad_: My tank asked to go slow. The DPS ran ahead and started pulling everything to the tank. Dank dropped stance and I just healed him and the other DPS. That dps became MT
ImmaPandaRawr: These comments lol. There’s a simple solution, it’s sort of crazy I know, but you could you know talk with the tank and party? Maybe let them know you want to try and go as fast as possible, you’re willing to pull mobs to the tank to help? Ask the healer and tank if they’re up to it? But also maybe respect them if they’re not comfortable? At the very least the healer needs to be on board. If the tank isn’t comfortable, try talking them through it. Most aren’t comfortable because they’re new and lack confidence or have tank anxiety. Pulling randomly ahead of them with zero discussion is a great way to make sure their tank anxiety doesn’t improve. It takes no time to exchange a few words. If that’s just too much to ask and you like pulling so much maybe pick up a tank class and do it yourself!
fenwild1000: Me, a Sage main, laughing as I get more addersting pops
abstract_space_: Me, any time I do my dailies with my remaining DPS classes. I'm about ready to just make a passive aggressive macro about YPYT's lmao
murderousraven5958: People acting like it’s hard core in wow. For one it’s a game, two you get better rewards for faster completion, three stop being selfish and making others wait on you, four past level 50 you get more than decent cooldowns so push hard, fifth why are you wasting others buffs by killing a mob of three at a time.
SinisterPlauges: As a dps/NIN main I will always bring mobs to the tank if I go ahead. Usually I keep a pace with them. What I hate is when I tank dungeons and the healer is doing this and pulling me with rescue even when im doing full pulls. Shit will drive me crazy.
Sharamaffxiv: The rare times when the dps does somehow move faster than me, they just
GimmeTOKYO: Meanwhile, me, as a tank: Oh, the DPS is using arm's length and bloodbath/second wind? Thanks for the extra mit! Hits one AOE to regain aggro
TheHellsingHQ: Tanks get angry at this? Huh, odd. Not like roles matter in this game anymore. Especially in dungeons. As a tank main, if people want to rush and pull, cool. Do it. Gives it more of a challenge to see others try and survive something. I've seen dps pull and win. I've seen healers pull and win. If not, all I would have to do is hit one button to grab aggro. No big deal. This braindead, hand holding, babysitting game needs that form of challenge again. Gods, I miss 2.0 and 3.0! Now those days you ACTUALLY got punished for pulling before the tank.
Ravemaster620: It's not our fault as Ninjas that we can move faster than everyone else
meteorwalkergg: I've given up on trying to explain to speedrunners how much better everyones' dailies would be if they simply pre-formed with each other but they have thick skulls from bashing their heads into random matchmaking for literal years
Wastingsometimehere: It's okay. The healer can res you later.
soymalklatte: It's fine if you're using Arm's Length to apply a debuff to the enemies that hit you
But that's NEVER what y'all are doing >.>
JoacinoDaGona: You touch it, you tank it.
TonyTheTiger-i6h: The pace is up to the group, not just one person. Even DPS.
asciiavatar: I'm not slow, but I have a rhythm for how fast I pull mobs in order to group them up efficiently. If the DPS want to charge ahead of me and pull, fine. I'm not going to chase them and 'save' them. If they want to tank the mobs until I get there, fine. I shed no tears when they get blasted into the ground because they can't take two hits. And no, I don't care if people think I'm an ass.
polymniaskate: This is always annoying but what p*ses me off is when people use as excuse that the tank is new and just run ahead and “help” them by picking up aggro - and then the cherry on top is when they get upset we all died because the tank could not manage to handle the situation since, well, they are new
