Isaphine: Really valid opinions. Unfortunately, I find myself in a similar situation as you where the game no longer feels as fun as it was back in ShB and EW. I do hope that the devs will implement better reward structure and contents other thn a huge grind-fest. See you next savage tier!

Soress9: It hit me too, even with the new stuff that just came out with deep dungeon, beast tribe and cosmic exploration (all stuff I normally like doing) I just haven't had that urge to do it. I've just been doing reclears with my static and collecting gil from FC subs and that had been it.

strawberrysundaes: You've always been a real one to me, you show true passion and heart for everything that you do. I may not comment on the vids or chat on the stream, but watching your content has been a chill time. I myself probably wouldn't have as much fun in FFXIV if it wasn't for the current static and friend group I've got. Burnout is real and people are allowed to get tired or hating a part of it that they wish was better. You've always vocalized in ways that are more on the positive line of things instead of the mass negativity that's been going on lately so it's a breath of massive fresh air.

C.Cer.: DT content is peak, yet friends are bored faster then ever. Could be homogenization, Rewards, MSQ, rehashed features - w/e it is? its lacking " excitement that lasts " that feels more then just Content that is one and done. " Make Jobs addictively/satisfyingly/fun? and it amplifies all Content / But Make Jobs bland? and the Content has to carry everything ". And to me? DT shows that Stellar Content can only carry us so far. I do hope you try new games, be it Silksong or Hades or anything. Aslong as you're enjoying it - cause if you're having Fun? I am having Fun watching you have Fun <3

BloodalitY: I'm more or less in the same boat, it won't take anything less than a new savage tier to make me return at this point... until then I've been playing games such as expedition 33, silksong, bl3, and maplestory of all things to scratch that mmo itch. FF14 is still the best game, but no matter how good it is, it gets old when you play it long enough, just like any games really.

cris53x: I played FFXIV from 2022-2024 for over 10.000 hours. At the end of Endwalker I was sure I would never stop playing, yet, after preordering Dawntrail the magic kinda disappeared. The story was "alright", the extreme/savage content was AMAZING yet the drive to keep grinding just vanished. I miss the good old times of progging ultimates and whatnot, a big part of it might be that I've kinda seen and done everything meaninful in ff14 and don't really have anything to look forward to anymore. I loved soloing deep dungeons and did clear all of them solo, yet I don't feel like wanting to pay 11 euros a month to go try out Pilgrim's Traverse. I miss the community and the people I met playing the game, including you.

I feel sad yet happy to be out of the addiction, and I'll be forever happy for the moments I had :) Hopefully I'll be back to ffxiv in the future.

AwayukiTV: Theres no shame in taking breaks from 14. Many people do that. Granted when its not a savage patch theres not so much to do. I really enjoy raiding. Imo the best game for raiding 100%. I'm kinda doing the same as you. I play Baldurs Gate right now, played Clair Obscur, Marvel Rivals. My group started progging TOP now, so i have things to do in 14 again. Also cant wait for the next savage and new ultimate!

I think that feeling of missing the game gets me but also at the same time I'm so burned out that I can't overcome the feeling of not wanting to go back yet. I don't have any particularly bad feelings towards 14 it's just not the game I want to play right now anymore and to some extent I think it was not possible for it to change to a degree to make me want to keep playing it after a good 8 years of keeping up with it. I do hope though that at some point that the itch to play it again returns but yeah right now there is a whole world of amazing games to discover.

I've skipped your Expedition 33 vids but that is only because I haven't played it myself yet. Also, I totally agree about PVP, being a Stunlock Simulator is just not fun at all, for me as an attacker or defender.

つばめがえし-d5t: Let's be real dt msq is just a bad social experiment, and content became more casual compared to ew and shb, every time I get ew raids trials I see ppl dying a lot cuz game suppose you to resolve mechs, and last dt tier showed a lot cuz ppl were hating on M7 a lot and M7 is a good fight in general, I don't wanna be toxic but most part of ffxiv community becoming "soft" kind of players, you can't even point on mistakes without ppl thinking you're aggressive guy or toxic, this expansion makes me think this game will be doomed if it will continue continue like this
