desertleviathan5131: So you don't actually have to finish Shadowbringers to unlock Reaper, you just have to get another combat job to level 70, and then the quest NPC to unlock the class is in Ul'dah. Dark Knight on the other hand requires you to finish A Realm Reborn and move into the Heavensward expansion. The three jobs from that expansion are the only time they gated the jobs behind a new location like that, all four expansion after that have placed their Quest NPCs in the three ARR starting cities and only gated them behind a level requirement.

MutatedWires: All classes if i recall correctly CAN be unlocked as early as ARR - you just need to own their respective expansions and be the level requirements! So DRK (though does require you to have started HW for the location) should be 50/60..? And Reaper is 70 and is within Ul'Dah!

KakYongtryReactNPlay_85: if you're already pass lv70 and paid for Endwalker, I think you can unlock Reaper and take the jobquest. Darknight can be taking in Heavensward[In Ishgard] and begin with lv30.

He is engaging in content based on its release, meaning as he is currently mid 4.0, he won’t see reaper until 6.0.
