goldenphoenixnaruto: Oh, it ain't just ARR. Though they DO become less frequent. ...Sort of.
Hackerboy602: Pray...
MsMirthling: once you start to notice, you can't unsee it. Random NPC asks you to talk to three people or get three things and they will do the same and then "We'll meet back here!" ....do they really move? do they do anything? really? So many grifter NPCs. If I could do animation, I'd def draw up one where a NPC is drinking in a bar saying "and then I said we need six so let's split the work! but we really only needed one so I got a drink and sold the spare two he brought me on the market board" NPC laughter
ryougaming8613: Warrior of (Light) Side Hustles is back on the road
michaelmoore2679: I’m not really sure about that. I always felt like people had relevant information for the most part. Or required you to do a menial favor for it.
The writing for quests does get better at concealing the busywork of it all. First place I really noticed it was in Heavensward at Loth ast Vath. The Vath give you a long laundry list of things to get, but your companions each take a chunk and leave you with just the dangerous monster slaying. Tricks you into thinking “At least I only have to fight three mobs instead of running all over the zone!”
Realfndragon: Im so god dam confused
GoodEggs: LMAO yeah ARR is...... she is Like That in excess
WafflesDaRacc08: Ngl the only dialogue I, kinda, payed attention to was in endwalker lol
sadi5713: in later expansions take notes and give these npcs the notes from the people and the deduce information from them. But talk to 3 people will be our objective until the end of time unfortunately, the love that shite.
arrgee1650: Every expansion has a quest involving animal droppings as well, if I remember correctly. (might be side quests for a few but there's some msq ones for sure)
tenjenk: Also, people dropping off the cliffs.
