barcey: So we're getting gear based off the artwork of Bartz, Leena and Faris. It makes you wonder if we'll get more Krile story here considering all the FFV references.

re_massie: Didn't play eureka, didn't play bozja, see no reason to play shades triangle. I'd much rather they populate the open world they already have with activities, than cordon them off in an instanced zone. They build 6 zones in each expansion and for the vast majority of the time the only thing being done in them are hunts a couple times per day and gathering.

gamer11011101: You've never played FF5? I highly recommend you do. It is one of the best JRPGs of its Era. And not most, ALL of the currently revealed Phantom Jobs are from FF5. I hope we get glam for each of them...

Why should I come back to play “phantom job” that have fun mechanics limited to just one zone and raid when I can play classes like them in WoW that offer more customization and fun in all content there? Why should I care about the war of magi when it ended in an umbral era anyway? Why should I be excited for what ended up being generic looking relic zone gear that’s role locked despite the phantom jobs not being that way?

Why should I care to dress up as FFV characters if I’ve not played that game? Especially if the sets are locked behind another raid that might be as overturned as Chaotic? Spend enough time away from FFXIV and these are the questions you end up with and it’s exceedingly difficult justifying or even contemplating a return.

whatthe9706: I think ill wait till 8.0. I cant even bring myself to login to finish DT MSQ and I've also already grinded Eureka before so I'm not in a hurry to do this content either. Maybe if it dropped with DT id be somewhat interested but, they waited too long. On another note, SE should consider hiring someone else for their designs, a lot of gear in this game is very forgettable/ugly without the help of mods.

Aoi-mirror: Far too little far too late. Not seeing anything sufficiently exciting to make me 'look forward to it'. The rest of the game is still too off-putting. This is fun content to play with friends but all the people I used to know have either left the game or are on another DC thanks to PF BS. By the time I come back it will probably just be the shitters playing and anything challenging will be impossible to beat. Then after this another deep dungeon. Loath deep dungeons. More hardcore content that you can only clear if you have a static. Got sick and tired of trying to keep a group together to clear PotD. After years of fun reaching end game, the game as it looks from the other side is not fit me. Also the mobs and bosses might be fantasy but they also look low effort. It's too early to say for sure. Underwhelmed, and it's all pointless because it's impossible to build casual communities unless your into clubs and third party mods, static commitment or enjoy the unpleasant people in high end PF.

Far too little far too late. This game was only ever fun with friends. Friends left. They will keep leaving while the game spends it's resources the way it does. It's not worth investing time in unless you do savage. Too little too late, such is the plan for the future also.

Bueno_Y: This is the kind of content you have to enjoy while it's new, because after some time it gets really hard to find people to help. I did Bozja a few months ago and while it was fun, it was also a pain to get a party to do Daldriada and other Critical Encounters inside that zone, it's also a JOKE that you can't open PF inside these zones, having to keep shouting until someone invites you to a party is annoying

metaboi488: Quite excited about it. 5th Astral Era and War of the Magi are important for the caster lore (Black Mage, White Mage, Scholar, and a bit of Red Mage) and it is really interesting so see 3 architechtural styles on a single map like this.

Their gameplay also tends to be better than normal overworld content. And if we can PF there like Cosmic I might not leave the area for quite a while.
