I’ll have a separate one for when I do actually high tier content that follows the KISS principle

But for more casual content I’ll do stuff try and make people laugh when I either rez or use a tank invun while keeping it fitting for whatever I’m playing (white mage goes “get off your ass, AND GET BACK IN THERE” when rezing while I quote medic from TF2 on Sage. warrior goes “I would like to rage!” while Dark Knight says something edgy about “killing that which is already dead.” That sort of thing)

Jon_the_Wizard: I have a similar story. Anyone who uses a particularly obnoxious rez macro, I will decline their raise and say something like, "no, I refuse the indignity of being raised by THAT. Delete that macro and then I'll accept your rez."

sunayocarissime5309: About the only macro I have is letting people know I used a stun on a mob to interrupt a hard cast. "Silence !! Your opinion is irrelevant!!" I usually keep it to the Say channel that way people know it was me and doesn't clog the team chat. The only other macros I have usually pertain to crafting macros and Special FATE A/S/B Rank Hunt scouting.

I learned after Baldesion Arsenal that using LB3 without letting people know sometimes aggravates people so I also made some linked to LB3 with certain DPS/Tank jobs. People usually laugh when I use the one for my GNB panic button. "Sh000000 yourself in the junk is usually NOT a good idea. HELP PLEASE!"

Drop_the_edit: i have nothing for tanks or healers but when playing dps (especially machinist) i go "tactical nke, INCOMING!" whenever i lb3

troastkoop: I've seen a fem Viera paladin that changed their glam at the beginning of the dungeon with chat macro that said something along the lines "let's do it, master" and all'at was followed by dramatic emotes, and some variations of this before every boss. Ik it's not my business what people do in video games as long as it's harmless, but... Why.

TripleARMS: the only acceptable print macro for LBs is "FIRST!"

Dylamn: I remember learning that I could kinda make my own emotes, and I made like 12 unfunny ones, and 3 that I actually use.

rananasakashita: I absolutely hate all those macros people flood the chat with, especially when it's with added sound...

It's not funny, it's not interesting, it's not cute, it's not informative. It is just cringe and you should be ashamed.

They are also ALWAYS too long and drag attention away from gameplay.
