CeliLarsonient: A fun fact about Qarn I love pointing out is that Final Sting is Gravity damage. Specifically 90% of your max HP, so it can still just plain murder you, even unsynced... if you let it. :P
1989pacmaniac: To any WHMs that may feel discouraged after getting called out twice in this video for not being able to AoE on the move:
You still have plenty that you can bring to the group. You can still DoT multiple targets up as you're running, you can toss a regen on the tank between pack acquisitions to keep them topped up without drawing aggro, and (if you're coordinated with your tank in some fashion) you can still have a good damage mitigation effect for the tank at the end of the pulls; you can Swiftcast your first Holy stun (if necessary), toss a Lily or casted heal while that stun runs down, and then spam your Holy another 2 times for nearly 10 seconds of mob inaction. This allows your tank to not have to use hardly any mitigation up to that point, and have it all available for the rest of the pull, or to even save some for the next wall-to-wall that happens next.
What's more, you are perhaps the most favorite healer for a WAR tank at certain levels because you can nullify one of the big weaknesses that their Holmgang has via Benediction. Same is true to some extent for DRK's Living Dead.
I've run any and all of these dungeons as every tank and healer combination imaginable, and they're all viable, even on these largest of pulls, provided that you all use your toolkits for your job well. Keep trying, keep reading, keep practicing.
TheRazer456: I'm glad i could help with some of these pull demonstrations as the machinist/summoner here if there's more down the line, then ill be happy to help with those too :D
Sethzenjion: I don't know if you've talked about it yet but the last pull in The Qitana Ravel you can spawn the last three monkeys early by running halfway into the arena then back out. This can catch some players off guard.
zippzapp7443: Amdapor keep giga pull is imo one of the funnest pulls to do because of the sheer amount mobs
shinewherethouwillandthouh7455: The funniest pull to me is the pull between the first and second boss of Cutter's cry because
A) Newer players laugh when they realize you can completely skip it
And
B) Vets laugh whenever one of their friends screws up and gets mobbed to death by 30 cockroaches because they didn't hit the sand fast enough
red5robb1: i once had a healer tell me to 'full pull everything if you are ok with it' in amdapor keep when i was a PLD.
i had never done them before, i usually split the 3 big pulls into 2 smaller pulls each. might as well give it a try, was so hectic and fun, healer was amazing and kept me alive the whole time.
also i love doing that neverreap pull, i watch the final stings then invuln when they are coming out. and because the boss is next i dont feel bad spamming all my mits
invenblocker: While nothing to do with the mob pulls, Pharos Sirius also gets to be a nuisance when you fight that dumb bird boss that has littered its arena in eggs that you have to avoid breaking, which wouldn't be problematic if Shadowbringers hadn't introduced a DPS whose single target rotation includes a massive AoE that can and will break the eggs.
I've had way too many wipes to Dancers just breaking every single egg at once and all of us paying the price for it.
idaret.: Iirc this Haukke Manor can be just skipped, one dps can kite mobs and rest of the party can start doing the boss and then you use teleport to boss. Please don't try that in roulette
noii1524: Second pull in Saint Mocianne's Arboretum is worth mentioning, bees, giant turtle with aoe attacks, ants with slow debuff and more bees
ridoranalighthouse: that neverreap pull is MEAN! most of the time when i land in neverreap it's through mentor roulette with first-timers, almost exclusively when i'm tanking, so i don't always dare do the full pull if the healer is the newbie. it's one of the most satisfying pulls to pop an invuln on though! especially living dead or holmgang with a raw intuition at 2 seconds left feel soooo good to do. absolute tanking bliss.
TesseoTime: The amount of people that simply don't know about the final stinging bees in Qarn is probably pretty small. But they all only decide to show up when I decide to play tank... Though, marking them like you did in the video actually looks like a really food idea.
kaine300: The shisui of the violet tides pull was such a fun first experience! When my friend had me unlock the dungeon while I went through Stormblood I was a pretty new to tanking lvling DRK and he goes "pull everything" so I blindly listened not knowing how tough that pull was and we wiped 3 times until I got the proper timings and mit cycles down. Using invuln at start of last pack helped me a lot getting my mit cycles started on time. Thankfully the dps in the party were patient and even encouraged me after 2nd try
SuzakuBlitz: Man, some of these pulls are blast from the past for me xD I remember doing some of them while it was on content and enjoyed them immensely despite how crazy they were.
I don't recall what dungeon popularized it but I recall one of the common strategies for running dungeons was to literally pull everything to the boss door and try to lock as many of the mobs OUTSIDE the gate as possible. So, tank runs the train to the boss gate, positions themselves just at edge of the line, another person pulls the boss to the tank, and just wait the countdown for the gate to lock out and clean up any mob that didn't de-aggro after. I haven't done this in so long that I don't even know if it's still a valid strategy anymore for those dungeons - but this tactic is probably why we have so gates leading up to the boss doors as well.
docsigma: Whoa! I did NOT know that about Raw Intuition. That's absolutely wild!
vespi57: My first true experience with hard wall-to-wall pull was in Holminster Switch, but you covered that already.
It took me quite a long time to realize in the first pulls of Dohn Mehg, that you can interrupt the fuaths. If I'm tanking there I always aim for it, but it is still very common that they won't get interrupted.
I agree on Neverreap. There was a time after I did it the first time, I completely forgot it exists!
I don't really know, what pull is my favorite. Gigapulls or not, I treat them pretty much the same way.
iPlayOnSpica: Tam-tara big pull between 2nd boss and barrier to last boss can be quite daunting for unprepared parties, too.
yukkalie7436: Kinda surprised that the Amdapor Keep megapull ranked so high >.>
It's probably the only one I personally feel comfy doing as either tank or healer on this list (tho I will only ever do it with express permission from my healer). That said, seeing the Haukke Manor race track strat makes me wanna try it some time XD
johanmedioni7856: Another great day to save the bees.
Kliuqard: Oh hey, I was just watching your previous wall-to-wall videos and then this one shows up.
MrsLittletall: Funnily enough, I had a tank gigapull the last part of Amdador Keep when I was playing Black Mage! I could not do any damage as I needed to stand to cast, only when swiftcast was ready I could do something ^^ And once we were at the end, our tank just dropped down. It was kind of funny, honestly ^^
Oh Neverreap! This dungeon has been in the Mogtome one time and I have NEVER seen that much Neverreap in my life!
cordrac: a couple years ago I got pharos sirius while queueing with my friend, I was astro and she went dps drg this time instead of drk. When I saw it was pharos I just... sighed loudly in my heart, but then the gunbreaker said out loud "i hate this dungeon" and it became a fun trauma bond
sylviap155: In that tower of babil pull, you can drag the mobs to you with a raged attack from the adjacent bridge. It's not necessary, but a fun way to switch things up, and avoid the arena AOE stuff.
darmorel549: The amount of "oh the mobs where on 1 hp but we ran out of defensive" the first pull of temple have given me is kinda silly, so knowing the bats are skipable might make me try the big pull again.
christhenaabgaming: My 2nd hardest pull was, when I pull all the mob packs (mobs more then 3) and its not an ARR dungeon and the 2 dps are still single targeting the mobs :P
