To be frank, the demiatma grind is really not that bad. You'll definitely get a full set before you've even mastered a fourth of the Phantom jobs. All you have to do is enjoy OC, and you get everything passively.

Also, I did the atma grind back in the day. It took me a good month to get all atma, and that's with everyone doing fates in every zone. I seriously think the demiatma drop rate is WORSE in OC. Ive lost count on how many fates ive done and havent seen a single drop. Dumb dumb dumb.

VashimuXIV: I do agree this does feel very by the books in terms of a content patch for XIV, and so my current perception is one both of feeling excited to see the conclusion of Dawntrail’s narrative, but also acknowledging that it might not hook me back in as much as it once did. I wouldn’t say I’m unhappy with the state of XIV, just admittedly feeling indecisive about my current trajectory with said time in game. But it’s certainly not as though I have nothing to work at; such as more Occult Cresent and still the whole of the raid tier, but that’s my own issue to find a solution towards. I’m excited for the new deep dungeon, those are often always nice grinds to do on the side along with other habits, but I know it’s still a nicher side of the community. And I get that public opinion of XIV is a very contentious topic, but I say people have every right to voice their frustrations all the same. Voting with your wallet is always the best option.
