Shopping CartPhydu3: Took you a while to find the Cliteum huh
AngelaRichter65: The word you were searching for was tabard, which is worn over another top and covers the back and front.
BOFH_: I really wish YoshiP would add the guaranteed relevant gear system from leveling dungeons to the level cap dungeons as well. I don't even need the gear very often, I just want the ability to farm glamour more easily.
ciary: The wind there combined with the flowiness of the shawl really shows how badly the physics engine of the game needs an update
FatesChosenHero: I would like to mention the prefix "Prae" in Latin means before or prior to. So, this gear is gear Garleans wore before the development of Magitek. Possibly even before they were pushed out of their original home in Southern Ilsabard, given that the armor isn't really meant for the current cold climates that the Garleans currenly reside in. Its a nice look into the cultural history of Garlemald from before the Empire.
Burori1: The Fending and Maiming sets seriously remind me of Desert Sith like attire. It's cool.
zeekfarrongaming5302: Dont get me wrong, I like the gear sets but I just kinda was expecting more Garlean empire themed attire like they did with Tower of Zot and the Garlean winter coats
tyverus89: These are very nice sets, shame about them not being dyeable - it's 2026, why do we even have undyeable dungeon gear!?
Mir_Teiwaz: It's insane to me that, in the expac where they introduced the dual dye system, so many sets of dungeon gear aren't dyeable.
herebejamz: I'm still kinda surprised they keep adding gear with no dye channels. Especially when it feels like there's no rhyme or reason to it? Or am I just missing the patterns?
j0hke: I ran the dungeon a lot for certain pieces of armor. The fending and striking armor sets are definitely my favorites. The earrings are fantastic as well. Getting glam set ready for Evercold is fun lol
Snowmanse: Glamour hunting is really time consuming for max level dungeons, since you don't get the guaranteed piece of gear for your role at the end. I hope at some point they give non-current xpac max level dungeons the guaranteed piece for glamour hunters, because it wouldn't really hurt progression or anything.
BlankPicketSign: Alisaie's tongue was doing backflips when she pronounced it
Aukyn1992: I have to be honest, out of the three last duties of DT I've been trying to get all the sets from the 3 duties xD
twilightfire93: I finally got the Fending top last weekend, and set up an absolutely banger glam. It stinks like hell that they're not dyeable, but the blue on the top already already matches the other blues I use for my glams! I'll bet that they'll be adding the dyable stuff as craftable gear in EC, lile they've done with the late EW stuff in DT. Other than that, these sets are designed SO well, and if this is the kind of designing they're leaning into with EC, I am SO ready for it!
SigmaTheWhiteFlame: Can someone going to Fanfest please ask the dev team what goes into the process of deciding on whether or not to make gear dyable.
KraftvS: Love this dungeons sets, all of them.
And robes are essential for caster aesthetics. So love those especially.
But yeah, it is a crime that these dungeon sets are not dyable at all. Somewhat understand it as Square tends to bring some of these as crafted gear in later expansions with dyable feature.
But other times they really do not do that and it is a huge shame as there are some really good ones that really need that dyable version in game.
liverpeppericecream: these sets are absolutely gorgeous!! I haven't caught up with the patch quests yet and this is very motivating xD
topsicles5268: Cli-ight-e-um, Cloot-e-um, Clit-e-um
keeperofthelakestop: What I like about tabard styles is it has the effect of a skirt hanging below the waist but open on the side so you can still admire some details of legs. Unfortunately they don't give us enough unique legs, mostly just leather or jeans...I'd like to see more with armor plating on it. I suppose they can't cause it would have layering conflicts.
sinCorazon1980: heh that warning at the beginning
leighsikay: i loveeee the fending/maiming sets! the chest pieces make such satisfying jingle sounds because of the dangly bits lol. the only glam i've made so far is for my reaper: i'm using the full praemagitek fending set except i replaced the legs with the pummeler's cuisses for warrior. it looks really good with the figment of autumn scythe!
Warden_Vtel: I find that Goobbue Grey is the best match for the Fending Armor tint on sets that have Dawntrail metal shaders
Gat720Dua: I don't know if it's intentional or not, but we could look into the maiming set as what Reapers used to wear when they first started out. When you toggle off the mask it just screams Reaper to me.
Spikes01k: I farmed this right away when I realized it could just be stored in my Armoire. Getting the caster body and the tank feet was the worst for me.
legreeniris: I really like these sets and have not yet collected them. The caster one gives me Rak'tika Greatwood the people of night vibes, and Y'shtola's costume vibes. Love especially the healer/caster and the tank/maiming sets.
Gochen86: The Fending/Maiming sets give me some serious Dark Souls vibes, while all the others give me heavy Bloodborne and Elden Ring vibes. I do love the earrings and necklace, though. Meteon needs more love.
