Shopping Cartsteveaustin4118: still neded a bait box for fishing
AngelaRichter65: The Tacklebox thing is something we were talking about while doing maps on Saturday. That would be a HUGE gamechanger as well as making tons of room in your saddlebags.
ShinryuMasaki: Amazing side effect of the glamour update is that the job restriction being removed means all those job specific gear sets now work on Custom Deliveries NPCs!!!!
chaossquall: Reduced animation lock for gathering is huge
sweepingtime: Spread the word about how nice these improvements are. Don't let the community wallow in the belief that nothing ever improves.
vectorwolf: Regarding unchained glamour... be aware that the artifact gear vendors in Old Sharly and Tulyollal have gear for every job, even ones you don't have! So if you want those black mage jewelry gloves or astrologian bell bottoms even though you've never touchedthe jobs, go grab them! They also all qualify for set condensing.
dalgona4819: The Command Panel is godsend, I used to take up like 4 of my hotbars for my gearsets, but now I only have to use two from Command Panel and freed up 4 hotbars to place more shortcuts.
justthebrouknow1466: 7.4 has been an incredible patch. High five for another amazing year with ff14
itsmaxeygm: Personally a big fan of the Command Panel. I transfered all my Gearset Macros from two toggleable hotbars on to its first page. Advantages are that unlike hotbars it can sit on top of windows. I had a problem trying to change gearsets while another window was open since it would mostly cover the hotbars. Additionally, because a macro for every job took up two hotbars, I now have 2 spare hotbars to mess around with. The other three pages I use for crafter and gatherer gearsets and they don't even cover one page while the rest ist full of emotes I want quick access to.
At first I struggled to find a use for the Command Panel but being able to access it through a Keybind, scrolling through pages with the mouse wheel and opening it on your cursor position made it a lot more useful than I thought!
HaruFae: the repair “QoL” is slow, is much faster to just click the arrow and repair all, even more faster using controller
vincentclark5853: wait, 7.41 is coming tomorrow?!
Kwstr42: my issue with the glamor dresser when it comes to sets is you cant dye the set peices in the dresser after they are grouped. it lets you use them in the plate and dye it in the plate but i want to use my rare dyes on the peices directly so i dont have to keep wasting money on the dye, so that forces me to not group them. its similar with the armoir, you have to pull the item out and put it in the dresser to dye it permanently to save money
JayBigDadyCy: This has been, Imo, the best patch of this xpac. The new MQ was really good (looks like they finally gave in/ realized that Wuk Lamat just isn't hitting home with the fanbase). The new dungeon is fun, all this QoL stuff is fantastic, and cannot forget the awesome change to Glam.
ReyReyzzz: The repair all button takes longer than if you did it manually lol i don’t see the point of using it
daniellmarsden1797: The repair all button is so slow. It's a slight improvement that we don't have to click through each tab and hit repair, but it shouldn't take 10 seconds.
victoriaolender6289: Not being able to change glamours outside of major cities is something I never understood the restriction for. Why the devs decided to make the effort to revamp the entire glamour system and not include that fix is ridiculous.
ZaneLionhartffxiv: Patch 7.41 isn't tomorrow it's just savage release. There's no maintenance so the patch isn't tomorrow. It's probably the 13 or 20th
TowelRanger: I’d rather a fishing box for bait than the repair all button. It was faster for me to cycle and repair each category on a controller (I’m on PC) than it was to wait for repair all to finish.
Dhalin: Repair All: I always right-clicked one piece of gear on the paper doll and clicked "Repair All" from there and that's been there for quite awhile? Though that only repairs the gear you are currently wearing. Still, I suppose it's nice to have that button around.
sebastien953: I have wished to have the Repair All option for a long time, but current implementation is not good. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to add a 2 second delay for each category of item? When you already have the muscle memory, it is faster to do it by hand. On a gamepad
MatthewSwaine: People saying the NA servers getting DDoS's is kinda annoying me, they are not getting DDoS'd there are just several nodes close to their servers that seem to be damaged and any traffic going through there loses packets etc. This can be seen by doing and monitoring some route checking. This is not something SE can fix and is just an infrastructure problem in the NA area where the servers are hosted.
terry5789: free to play when?
antmar6552: so less travel, more convenience. why not just remove the need to repair completely and teleport to anywhere, skipping character movement completely.
drenathor: My favorite QoL change was having less Wuk Lamat in the MSQ...
1Mrstephen: My favorite quality of life edition is in the free company submarine lists. I run my subs on MROJZ and after all this time, I still could not figure out what the heck the names of the zones were. The location select screen now has the letters.
jopet216: Still waiting being able to craft without taking mats from retainers
skeletonwar4445: The Willful npc buff also applies to all duty supports, I've had it proc in the new dungeons.
