NotTheWheel: Second note: I think one thing I agree on is that probably been the best for raid content and we've also received many small qol updates throughout the expansion as well. Not just strategy board or glams but like all sorts of small, minor things. I mean, regardless of how people feel about the msq this expansion has given us a lot. Maybe it didn't stagger it out the best - but it has delivered.

RubyJoanne-o7x: Imma be real. After two low effort, minimum viable product expansions, I'm pretty much done giving them the benefit of the doubt. One good patch isn't going to fix my trust and it *shouldn't*.

What should fix our trust is a sustained, consistent effort to rebuild it that includes the flagship expansion content, not just the drip feed patch content.

If the next expansion isn't fucking marvelous, they're in for a world of financial trouble.

Syokonono: they didnt change anything at all. FF14 fans are always the same. Complain, then they are given more of the same stuff, and then they are happy again. Wearing any glam you want is legitimately such a nothing burger compared to what truly holds this game back. Variant dungeons are still more of the same, the change just modifies it slightly to remove some redundancy - the content is still essentially the same. Strategy boards are useless, no one actually uses them besides for memes; everyone still uses raidplan, or hector if theyre bad.

Everything you said is the equivalent to the developers throwing a couple grains of rice to someone starving that hasn't eaten for weeks. This is exactly why FF14 never improves, yall are so quick to make a complete 180 on your opinion of the state of the game when you are given the smallest of improvements that end up not actually fixing the core issues the game has.
