Shopping Cartjaykay5838: My glamour chest is actually gaining more space as time goes on, via glamour sets, and removing duplicates , as well as removing pieces I had to "settle" with because of job restriction.
Bardic_Knowledge: I actually ran into some glamour-based confusion yesterday when Tanking Good King Moogle Mog XII (may his pom be ever fluffy). When the Tank Stack started up, I was trying to keep the person in White Mage robes out of the stack, but he kept following, and then I realized that was my fellow Tank.
Honestly more amused than annoyed about it.
lucifurrfluffington: What I really want them to add is hairstyles to be added to glamour plates, because certain hairstyles don't go good with glams due to headgear clipping. I hate having to change my hair to match outfits.
1Shayz1: For anyone that doesn't have it enabled, go into your party name settings and make sure you have role colors on, so that tanks always have a blue colored name and healers always have a green colored name
naotohex: There is one other improvement I can think of for the dresser and that is letting us store dye. The most annoying part of glamming right now is dying a piece of gear in the dresser, realizing you have none so you have to remove dyes and go get that dye. If we could store like 999 of each dye type in the dresser that would be amazing
apdj94: More than disciple of war <-> disciple of magic, the best thing is disciple of the hand/land <-> literally every other job
AnnoyingmousCookie: Regarding character creation, call it copium but with the addition of the unique hair colours and eyes in their neon vibrancy along with more unique facial models (Sphene, Shale) makes me wonder if they're setting up for a CC update in 8.0 and are laying the groundworks. I would hope so. It is hard to make a truly unique character in XIV, the best you can do is pick the least used face for that race (Face 2 Miqo'te for example) and usually a darker or non-natural skintone like a Moon Keeper or Xaela's green and blue tones.
kusaboketranslations2163: What I really want is for them to connect the Glamour Dresser to the Calamity Salvager in the same way its connected to the Armoire. Since Calamity Salvager knows which quests you have already done, that means that info is already stored in a server somewhere, so just let me click a button through the Dresser and apply the look of something on the Salvager to a plate and charge me the gil when I save.
alacrity7591: I think a cute idea for the race gear would be to put the unlock behind an early-to-mid ARR-level questline that gives you an explanation for the origins and histories of the several different races (and subraces!) Would be a nice way to integrate and expand the lore from the character creation screen and give you an appropriate reward - and catch new players up on why bunnies and lions run around the cities when no NPCs look like that. And then a short and comedic follow-up quest for why the hempen underwear looks different, too. XD
I'm also still hopeful for a "checklist" system for the glamour - and GW2 shows that this system works with dyes, too. But I don't think we'll get something like that until at lest 8.1 ^^'
Corack4: once they turn the tome and raid sets into outfits i might actually be able to fit in everything, cant wait^^
OmegaEnvych: To be honest, with glamour updates and debloat, I was able to remove over 150 items from glamour dresser, opening space for more glams, including really neat set.
Realistically I wish that they would figure out how to put Glamour Dresser in the personal house so I could change my glam while being at home and more realistic - allow any gear to be saved as outfits, which would save another 100 slots or so and make amount of glamour plates equal to "Amount of Jobs in the Expansion 2" so we could save more presets than we really need.
Ktjnn: I hardly changed any of my glams haha I tried, maybe down the line
EvilPikachu: I like the freedom it offers players, even if it's worthless to me since I have one master glamour setup that I use for everything, my yellow fluff werewolf set on my tiny lalafell Pikachu-y goodness. Can't top perfection.
omnicloudv7: All of my hoarding gear, which has been a pain to do because of inventory space issues, has paid off. I had hope that they would eventually do this and they finally did. This is the BEST patch they've ever released. Don't care about anyone else's opinion about it. I've been having so much fun making outfits for my character.
PhoenixSora9aOs3: with this update, i feel i have gotten almost all the features i wanted for glamour... somewhat. extra dye channels is great. Facial accessories is atm a bit lacking but still great. When they announced it i kinda where hoping that it would be more something where all items that is on your face, glasses, masks and such would get its own dedicated glamour slot. that way you could just have 2 head gear pieces on at the same time. Now i just want them to add stuff like the Sable Death Mask and such and i will be glad with that.
One thing i WISH we could get is that more jobs can utilize the Off hand slot. Would be cool if jobs that have have multiple items for their weapon would be able to use it. Jobs like MNK that uses 2 items when they fight could have something where your right arm holds the Hellish Claw weapon while the Left hand could use the Emperor's New Fist. making it look like you only have 1 claw. Kinda like Vega from Street Fighter
NIN could have two different types of daggers where one is a small short one while the other is a large short sword one.
could even picture BRDs have a different Quiver over the one their main weapon typically use
1Shayz1: My partner just started the game a few months ago and she is LOVING this update and the freedom of putting together glamours that can be applied to any of her jobs that aren't just the mogstation or level 1 "any class" gears
twelfthkingdom: I freed up 20 dresser slots from the new sets that were added and 65 slots for my wife's
I feel like just as they've done things gradually for duty support and viera/hroth hair, we'll see more sets applied, eventually even dungeon gear that'll make those 800 slots feel a lot roomier, even if it's still not enough. Definitely need enough glamour plates for every job though.
zuljarr: making the content of calamity salvager and relic replica vendors available in the glamour/armour dresser by default would be big good
i assume they check if you have the accivement to see spesific items they could expand on that. clear a dungeon X amount of times get achivement and unlock the glam from that dungeon in the dresser
pessimistic_optimist8322: Doubt we'll see artifact gear moved to armoir, since this patch they just made them all into outfits. it's still about 20 slots per expansion if you want to store all artifact gear, but much better than before when it was 100 slots per expansion.
Wessimus: I put my Viper in Ignominy Gear and dyed it Dragoon Blue with Metallic Gold trim for that Erdrick's Armor look since I just finished the Erdrick Trilogy HD-2D remakes.
Nezzeraj: I went from 0 free slots to 150 after turning a lot of gear into sets. I am very happy with the improvements. If I could ask for one thing its to be like WoW where you don't need the physical item and any gear you have ever obtained is unlocked as glamour.
GlitterMagician: I would like to have infinite use dyes instead of having to keep stacks of dye so I could use it without feeling guilty when I get tired of the glam and want to change.
ZyrYoutubeAccount: I worked through my glamour dresser before the update and deleted 250 Items. I will need them for sure :D Was able to delete a lot of "double" items due to job restrictions :D But its such a good step in the right directions. my new Samurai glam has a weaver hat, a lancer chest, scholar gloves, miner trousers and fisher shoes. SUCH a good change :D I think everything that does not dye like earrings should just go in the armoire. I never get the events earrings because it seems like a waste of slots. My main wish for now would be keeping dyes in sets and/or armoire.
fourcatsandagarden: I can finally properly have a farmer reaper im so happy
loki555: 800 slots is way more palatable now that we have outfits. Like yah I want more for sure, but because of outfits, I'm down to 550. I also don't keep anything I can't see myself wearing, especially if it's easy enough to reobtain.
