Shopping Cartchrisclay7013: I describe the community as "Aggressively friendly"
bradleyjohnson1702: Nothing makes me happier than seeing a new player waddle overencumbered to his stash box with the pile of goodies i just dropped for them
gokuusf: You fresh vault dwellers are gonna take our gifts, and you're gonna like it!
GregEaston: "Hey! You! New guy! Come here! I've got gifts for you! Hey! Stop running away! Where are you...?"
And that's why donation boxes.
craftynara: My husband and I started playing about a month ago. We have been huge fans since Fallout 3 but were hesitant to join the multiplayer game. We love the community so much! So many people helped us out and we leveled up quickly. It is really fantastic to see such a supportive in game community
alvodisco: me camping at vault 76 with my welcome pack of food and water
steventidd1239: To be honest in the original release, before they added the pacifist button to bypass PvP, there were a ton of griefers constantly attacking people
DirectorCM: The irony is that Bethesda really thought we as Fallout fans wanted PvP, we just wanted to play Fallout together and they took that as we wanted Wasteland PUBG
mephala7446: I joined during the fishing update and i had lots of people look after me when i started! From people coming to give me stims, buying out my store then dropping all the stuff they bought, making me gear and much much more!
EZEfallout: The fallout community is top notch
biostemm: It's been an interesting experience for me - I've been playing continuously since 2018, and picked up Arc Raiders since it also had a wasteland-like environment - I have been looking toward the most recent update, (disastrous launch aside), and wanted something else to play in the meantime. What started as a friendly almost entirely PvE experience there, quickly turned toxic, and made me appreciate FO76 so much more! I think they need more donation boxes throughout the game world - I'd even say let us build them at our camps - they could act as world containers that you cannot lock, do not access your stash, and cannot be placed in any sort of locked or closed-off room...
Dervraka: I think there are two reasons the community in Fallout 76 is so positive. The player base tends to skew older than most MMO's (lot of 40 players) so you don't run into hardly any kids or teens acting the fool like you do on MMO's like WoW. Also, unlike many MMO's, since loot is personalized, you aren't really competing against anybody for drops or rare kills or anything, so there is really no benefit whatsoever to being a jerk and hindering other players.
StaciRouth: I just stared playing and was freaked out because randoms were dropping burning bags in front of me.. I didn't know what to do at first until I clicked on it and got free stuff and they gave me the thumbs up emote. I am really liking this game. Stop by some house the other day they had free popcorn and nuke candy. Didn't know what it was but glad I picked some up now.
syco9154: Its honestly a split on what community is more friendly
Warframe or fallout both are ridiculously nice
SynergyGameCave: several years ago i started, a pink power armor walked to my base to drop me a shocking amount of plans in a bag. it changed my progress drastically, so now i do the same and visit low level players to give them chem bench and tinker bench plans to get them started properly. this community is unlike any ive ever seen.
spydrzane6317: I keep an eye on the vault on the map. I will make weapons and armor and pass them out to new people coming out of the Vault along with Ammo and meds.
Grady-Yeshuan: Fallout 76 is the only game I MP with. Great fun and community.
JamieMacDougall: One of my favourite things about this game is it’s reputation on the dregs of social media. The worst if the gaming community would never be seen playing it.
TheRealKazberry: I love playing 76 on Xbox with my buddies in my server.
petergreenwald9639: I got the "unlimited" storage boxes for ammo, stims, and mats during the free plus weekend and filled them to the brim. Now when I scrap anything, I take it to V76 or the tavern and drop all the mats in the donation box. I finally have room in my normal scrap box for all the sweet weapons I have always wanted to hoard.
KRISIS1451: You know to make it even better there should be a reward for adding certain items to a donation box a day. It would really up the positive reinforcement of giving. Kind of the thing they did with monster hunter world where if a high player helped a lower level hunt they'd get unique rewards.
el_jeffe_17: You're gonna take these stimpacks, and you're gonna like it! Get over here!!!
Corex89: "new player?" sneaks up then poof
aaronheater7583: Dam, I had mama Schmitt on my friends list for years just because her vendor is usually pretty stacked. I had no idea she had anything to do with streaming. I need to check them out
CHADAFallout76Podcast: Thank you for mentioning us!
matthewmclean9607: It’s a great gaming community just like the monster hunter community
SkyChaser-: i decided to install the game yesterday, today i opened a map spawned gov crate, got a bounty of 10 caps for lockpicking it, and got hunted down by level 989 power armor wearing, jetpack jumping, explosive ammo shooting player hunted me down, i'm level 5, he went after me even after i fast traveled away.
