When a best build blocks my camp from being placed on a private server it’s not right.

ElectricheadPt1: It needs to give priority to real camps. They need to be free fast travel spots. They need to incentivize visiting them and voting on if they're good or bad. And mostly, they need to figure out a way to make the vendors work.

jscotthatcher380: the caps thing is what prevents me from going to them, not that i lack caps its that i only spend caps to travel to places with a goal that isn't sight seeing.

alot of my friends think that when loading into a world our camps should override any best build, also survival tents. there is always at least one in my group that can't load into their main/favorite camp due to either best build or tents. granted we do kinda basically take over a server sometimes with 12 or more of us.

MrMunchman69: Why is it we can choose to not stay on a world when out tent will not place but we have to stay if out camp can not be placed. Backward, fix this Bethesda.

sliferjam: I already made a few fishing camps with weather machines and submitted them as best builds, hoping to help out fellow fishers. I hope to submit one of them to the Fishing CAMP contest next month and possibly win another 10,000 atoms.

OriginCorey: My only comment in regards to this sentiment is that this is encouraging players to take valuable spots with best builds, almost guaranteeing having good fishing build spots occupied when loading into servers. But i guess those spots will be built in often anyways

CentiusX: I want them to add an option to turn off best builds from spawning in private worlds. I have yet to see a "Best Build" as anything other than a waste of space. I've seen random stuff placed all around called a "Best Build". I've seen "Best Builds" blocking both entrances to the Organ cave. I have yet to see anything creative from them.

hokie97lvt: This is a really good idea. And my mobile fishing camp has made me want to do a real fishing camp. Making it a best build would give me a little extra motivation to put the effort into it.

DFenderCN: It’s funny, I was just thinking about that because I’ve built 5 really good fishing camps. Really good by my standards, lots of buff items and fishing decks with canning, fish traps and camping.

cucumberforest: You would have to make it so that best build camps can only be proposed by the general public. When a camp has received 10 suggestions, the owner of the camp receives a message asking whether he wants to accept the nomination. This would save us a lot of junk best builds.

mwhofmann: They need to make a marker with the camp icon that's like the shelter icon or the Halloween candy icon that's a weather icon.

AdventShot: You should be able to upvote for someone's camp that you might like even if it's the player's camp itself, not a BB.

WutTheWutThe: Best builds voting system is broken too. There needs to be a CAMP object that can be used to "vote". I don't think fishing is going to help that mess.

OriginCorey: Honestly i got pretty peeved at the best builds because i make really complex detailed, objectively cool builds and would get like 5 votes and almost every astronomically high voted build i went to was an absolute vomit build. It just completely took the wind out of my sails, why bother sharing something i poured hours of work into for it to be absolutely ratioed? I still build, but never even bother to best build them.

ArtemisAurora: I do this! I have a fish camp in each region with all the bells an whistles all submitted to Best Builds.

sirtandeth122: It is surprising to go to a person's camp and it be really really good and they don't have it as a best build. But I was unaware that people report camps just to report camps and be buttholes. I've had people come to my camp and turn all of my lights and electronics off and I have to go through and turn them all back on, that's pretty annoying.

hughejasse1: My concern with submitting my current fishing camp as a best build is that it's in a good spot and could bump a player from using it; I know that's happened to me and it's frustrating. I've read where this could get you reported for some reason and since there's no benefit to having a best build submission, it's just more aggravation. I already have all of my resources unlocked at my fishing camp with the snow machine always running so I'm thinking that's good enough.

dazzmead: I like the idea of sharing the weather stations but if there are players that may have only 1 camp spot and it's taken up by a best build it means they can't use their own vendors and if more and more people put best builds down in the popular/useful places then it will only make that problem worse, I personally feel that if you load into a server then your camp should immediately overwrite the best build. I have seen more trolling best builds then actual good ones!

_Doomwitch8: I love his camps. I wish more of my friends would submit their camps! I still go check them out if they're cool, and I always give a like.
