SilencerDude: Just a note for people, a lesson I just learned the hard way. If you catch fish that count towards the the Fishing Daily, then leave the game before finishing, it resets to 0 caught

aestevalis0: IMO advanced drag is the best rod mod. It's the only one that can catch local legends.

shawnadams1965: All I know is the quest to upgrade to the Mark 2 Reel is pissing me off. So far I've caught 2 GLOWING Kanawha Piranha in the forest region and of course they don't count for the quest.

_The_Black_Cerberus_: I saw that Axolotls only spawn once a month and will take a full year of non stop playing 76 to get every type so the 2 player titles are definitely gonna be the rarest to see being used

b1orogue: I had around 50 improved bait. Went fishing in my mire camp, in the rain, and caught a grand total of ZERO uncommons or rare fish. Freaking ridiculous. No, I take that back, I did catch the Axolotl. But still, so stupid ridiculous.

scarixix: Still working on Mk 2 reel. My left thumb is aching from trying move damn thumbstick so much over and over again for hours. Who knew a Toothbrush could put up so much of a fight. Trying save improved bait for when can actually have better reel but wondering if should use to catch piranha and leatherback or just hope to get lucky with common bait ?

zextrix: TO CATCH AN AXOLOTL: use only IMPROVED BAIT in rainy conditions, if you use superb you will waste it. idk if its a bug or what but even my mk3 will spawn a fishing minigame that is nearly incompletable without the drag mod (daily quest reward) also keep in mind you have 10 superb bait to use till you hit level 150 on the scoreboard so use them sparingly

Gatzadoo: For all those uncoordinated wastelanders out there (like me), I've found using the left and right arrows on the keyboard easier, and also thinking clockwise-counterclockwise with the fish being the little hand and the catch area the big hand of the clock.

AngeloSantelliMusic: its so easy to unlock the mark 1 reel upgrade that you might miss it- I did and was using the stock one for over an hour, but even that little upgrade makes a big difference in making the wheel less sluggish. so check your plans! you'll unlock likely within your first 10 casts
