fpsocelot: Literally my favorite gun in the game. My daily driver is quad ws ap. It works perfectly for energy weapon builds without having to change up your perks from bossing gauss builds.

SimozzzAk: There are actually three lights two being blocked by any scope and you lose some damage if you shoot instantly when first light shows up.

crazy-tommy: I use it with reverse onslaught, furious, sniper, prime, no splitter and no scope (so you can see the three lights for the charging status). Btw. you don't deal full damage when only the first light is there, you need to wait until all three lights are there.

Giga4444: Would love for the Gauss sniper to auto charge...love it, but I don't use it for the need to charge each shot xD

Mothdust.Gaming: Auto-charging for the gauss absolutely should be a mod. Holding down a button all the time is just silly.

jernejkurincic9050: For most of the time ultracite rifle was one of my main weapons - but in ordinary long barrel configuration, because sniper is pretty much useless without quad. Often I used it scattered with the vampires as my healing rifle. When they buffed the fire damage it was a real devastator with spread fire damage and useful DOT. But nerf of fire damage made it less useful. Looks like I have to get it out of the stash and take another look.

A note: I think there are actually 3 charging indicators, not just one.

macgw86: To fix fire rate issue on prime (you really need to use prime for maximum output) replace vats enhanced for rapid on the 2 star. (for quad)

edit; it just hit me you're human - I run this on ghoul without ground pounder - eye of the hunter for better hit chance - that's why I can get away without having it on 2nd star for more fire rate.

Extremely strong on a ghoul character with faulty spots, as prime / faster fire - with an ap cost of ~40 putting number cruncher very high.

2-3 shot most head hunt enemies

solo snake easy.

The-House-of-Seven: It isn't a light, it's three lights and they light from left to right so as soon as you see the left most light around your scope it's still not fully charged. Unless it's fully charged on first light. But then why three lights? That needs to be explained if it has an effect or not.

leehelck4606: i crafted a primed quad ultracite laser sniper rifle a few weeks back to farm ammo with. i was surprised how well it performed. you forgot to mention that stable flux is required to craft it (i forget which type), so if someone wants to craft a bunch to learn the mod plans they will need a bunch of flux as well.
