thebuddhasofbostonsports4193: You can get the crossbow plan for free at Pioneer Scout Camp where you do the Archery Test. Also Early game do events because not only can you unlock Fast Travel points on the map you can get even low level items. I have a level 15 Elders Mark, and during Mutated Events you can get party packs and get low level 3 star items.

_G_360: The broadsider is my favorite. I have an alt account were I never had fallout 1st and once in a while I get bored and start a fresh toon in there. You get yourself a broadsider and ammo converter and that's a golden start to the game. Very nice indeed.

Barduwulf: I can attest to the Cold Shoulder’s ammo efficiency. I have a prime cold shoulder (uses special rarer and more powerful ammo) and I always end up with more ammo than I started with. I got lucky with the free FO1st week, because I put away a lot of ultracite shotgun shells in the ammo box).

Saltzgrave: The Cold Shoulder shouldn’t be underestimated. As a ghoul, using Wild West hands allows up to 10 stacks of bulletstorm. I can solo the guardian in one phase without sneak using it, it’s always close but definitely achievable

I count any weapon that can one phase the guardian as end game appropriate

*For anyone looking to replicate this, 5 limit breaking and vigorous receiver are basically required. I tested all receivers and vigorous is the highest dps.

TekTonicProductions: Hunting rifle. 50 cal rec mod. Outstanding range, great in vats. One shots most mobs from super low level. Farms ammo for 50 cal machine gun later on.

platinumhusky9531: the bows and crossbow are no joke ^^ They are extremely powerful now. They have all the elements Fire, cryo ,poison ,plasma A high stealth multiplier. Ammo efficient, Really good range. Combined it with throwing weapons like the Tomahawk and hat-trick Perk. It extremely good I love it. ....Quick note The tomahawks count as a melee kill So that means enemies that have the only can be killed with melee Mutation.. Can be killed at range with throwing weapon.

RolandDelacroix: There's a nunber of really good weapons even n00bs can get just by participating in some events. Burning Love, Holy Fire etc.
