scaredpaul540: Its just "feature" what was forgotten to be removed...what you catch is pure RNG. I finished Mark 4 challange today by preparing rainy camp in Toxic Valley 100 improved bait to catch those 5 long large fish...with first 50 baits no luck at all...then i went to Moonshine Jamboree a when i returned i catched 5 of them with 10 baits on same spot... its pure luck

Snaerffer: I reckon this issue arises because the rod reel aren’t listed anywhere as a weapon etc. if it were then you’d be able to see it needs repair …. I certainly didn’t know this trick and am super thankful for your vid.

BxBxProductions: didnt work for me. and you can repair the rod even after it's been repaired. what perk cards do you have on?

TheBunnyMans: You fix it close the menu then reopen it you can fix it again I think it's just a bug it made no difference to me with any of my fishing. I randomly get lots of rares then back to nothing before and after trying this.

jvazacas: This doesn't do anything. If you have bad rng in one server, jump to a new server to reset your rng. I've gotten the mark 3 reel and never did this.

fivenotewonder: You need to use a weather station at your camp, having rain or snow greatly helps and you won’t catch much good fish until you go up through the challenges upgrading your rod. You’ve got advanced drag which is the best mod so that’s great. I caught 700 fish and got my captain title today and the wavy Willard. Has taken about 12 hrs of fishing over the week.
