A regular Flamer does significantly more damage than the Holy Fire because the regular Flamer can use the Vaporisation Nozzle attachment for 40% extra damage at the cost of range, but that lower range can be subsidized by legendary mods or regular perk cards.

crazy-tommy: For pure EN06 farming I think I stick to the Enclave plasma flamer. Non-VATS on a human build I can achieve 41-45 second timer kills without consumeables or having to deal with AP. Maybe I change my loadout when the Raid gets changed next patch.

chuckfin: 4.1k hours played and after a good but of testing, a normal flamer with the vaporizing nozzle with Furious, Rapid, Durability ( running durability instead of Int because they break fast ), and Pyromaniacs is way more effective. The vape nozzle range is a bit shorter so I'm having to 'walk' up the pipe from the floor to cling to it rather than stand on top of it. Not as strong as the enclave plasma flamer, but I was able to start EN06 solo runs on a L 90 alt and finish before the second shield phase with no issues. Not dismissing the Holy Fire though, it's a great all-rounder if you don't have the surplus of stims for the shield phase.

Ocelot812010: Favourite? Hmm... Used to be pepper shaker but now it's definitely the hellstorm missile launcher with cryo payload modification.

Zaudejis: EPF kills it in like 8 seconds with a proper build. That is a ton shorter than using other weapons.
