Shopping Cartphoschnizzle826: There are a lot of events I never bother with, simply because the rewards are trash for the time it takes to do the event, and because the event itself is stupid / boring. Improving the loot pool for those events is pointless if the event itself still sucks. And reducing the loot for popular events is a horrid idea - the loot for Rad Rumble got nerfed, and it's hard to get as much community involvement in it as a result. The Grunt / Bounty hunts are nice, adequate loot for the time spent on the event, and you can start 'em whenever. And let's face it - events like Dogwood Die-Off, Death Blossoms, and others should just go away and be replaced with a better thought-out event.
IamHomelander: Not anger, nor concern. Apathy. There are so many good offerings out there right now.
Anger: back when we farmed 100’s of cargobots for Gat Plas mods, only to nerf it into the ground.
Concern: Spending a year messing with the meta. Changing what perks do, what they cost and even what category they’re under. Changing legendary mod effects that we grinded the raided for.
Apathy: After 100’s modules, hours of grinding, they say we’ll leave perks alone. Now they’re messing with legendary effects again, changing events and underwear.
I’ve gone back to Elden Ring, Expedition 33, BG3, etc. No shenanigans. Just great games.
dhotnessmcawesome9747: Every damned update doesn't need to change the way we play the game.
lauriesica: The issue with balancing everything is that it won't matter which weapon, armor or perk you use. Over balancing ruins the experience.
NittanyNeo: New update, new region, new events, new season, S2 on Amazon and I've seen no new players popping out of Vault 76. Logging in to do my dailies and season already done. Bethesda has taken the players for granted between issues with every 76 update, another exploit, Oblivian Remastered fail, FO4 Anniversary edition major fail. What is left but to move on to other games?
wizology_: Honestly all the damn perk changes are annoying af , like blocker for example, changing it from its current state to whatever is on the PTS , is just gonna make it useless , cause absolutely NO ONE blocks.
HoosierHawk: The change that really ticks me off is the underarmors. It took me three years of grinding Queen of the Hunt to finally be able to craft Shielded Flannel and Jeans and I got it like three months ago. I sell it to people grinding season for the 3 INT 3 CHR . Now it is worth nothing to me or to the people who bought it. Why play the game and grind for things if Bethesda is constantly going to devalue your efforts?
gear302: The mods go INTO the underarmor, the stats aren't gone, you can now mix and match. Of course, there may be some frustration about differences in bonuses and having to do different events/buy them with gold to unlock the new undarmor mods, but SPECIAL stats will still be there.
Fliim: Some of the nerfs especially for bloodied players are just so unwarranted. ESPECIALLY the changing of the blocker perk and taking fire protection away from Fireproof. The only thing keeping me playing this game regularly is watching my player level get bigger because I am bored with no other games are calling my name. If they make it too annoying to be a bloodied character there will be nothing left for me outside of the minor additions they add, which I usually finish within a week.
bgbdwlf408: For Secret Service Underarmor, you have to pay gold bullion for mods. Can I have my gold bullion back?
TheRandomEevee: I wish they'd stop changing perks and also make more weapons worth using since the furious gauss minigun is the sole meta for heavy gunner builds and everyone else is using the elders mark
maclnmacln: The patch notes were also saying that once an event is chosen that will be the only available event until it's beaten. Nobody plays it or fails it tough that's all that will be available until beaten. That creates a major negative for FO 1st subscriptions. A major draw of FO 1st is being able to solo your private server. A lot of events but not all are beatable solo. You get an event that can't be beaten solo you are now stuck with that event. You'll have to get a team to come to your server to beat it. What a hassle. Makes me not want to renew my 1st account.
You start adding up the boring uninspired Burning Springs expansion, the mistake of reworking armor, events, rewards, reworking of raids, the utter lack content when compared to Bethesda other major online game ESO, the atomic store and all its cool camp items they charge an arm and a leg for that can barely be used because the camp build budget is a joke. You add all this up and what you get are reasons to not play this game any further.
telephonewyre: I don't understand why they are changing eviction notice.... I don't think it would harm literally anyone if they just left it the same and still added more legendaries around the world... Why can't we have both?
RyanHreha: Unless they're putting 4 star legendary in the world not just behind a raid wall. Spreading legendaries around to get player's to do events that suck is putting a bandaid on the problem
whitethanatos623: There are way more legendary enemies in burning springs than in Appalachia before burning springs.
KhondorFlex: People aren't really hitting events outside of Burning Springs. Turns out scrapping 99% of legendary drops is not a fun loot mechanic.
ivyfoo502: I'm having less fun already, in the current game. The nerfs to vats and the build I lost with the last perk card changes hasn't been recovered. I've found something okay, but it's nowhere near where I was before (which I worked really hard for I might add). I dislike Burning Springs, it's a slog. Just doing the same things over and over and over again to complete the challenges and I'll probably never go back again. I'm so sick of it already. I used to break up my time helping people run caravans (which I really enjoyed because I felt like I could actually help a lower lv player, we could achieve it together and it felt good) I used to really like to run daily ops, but with all the nerfs to xp gains, it's not really worth it anymore. I also run west-tek a lot, but I've noticed some strange things with that lately as well. (mainly missing enemies). Lately, I mostly just do my dailies and log out. I think all of the events need more enemies, there is not enough to go arounds imo. I'm dreading more changes to builds, as soon as I heard about the armor stuff it made me feel sad. I'm tired of working towards something only to have it yanked away. I don't feel like I can play the way I want anymore, maybe I never really could.
futurepig: I don't understand why Bethesda keeps making these apparently random changes to the game's mechanics, while there are actual bugs that need fixing. Another thing that annoys me is they are making some events "mandatory". I never liked the Raids, I tried once and it was not fun for me. Now I can't complete the week's challenges unless I finish all the steps of a raid (can't be re-rolled) Why I'm forced to play an event I don't enjoy? As you said, these things make the game less fun for players.
cozzi6854: Fallout aged well for the genre and devs. They make a million mistakes but there's actual communication and fan service. Free atoms, free DLCS and seasons, it's also a game that can be played literally however you want at any point. Great comfort game that I'll always default to when I'm bored.
lazytable: I've played for years. The last year has been rough to get through. I honestly can't even get through the raids and have been grinding to get my build good enough to solo them but it seems like even that is about to end.
MarkT-wo8vg: I wish they would add 4 stars to the world not trapped in some game mode impossible to solo players and players who aren't OP. Give the deaths unique skins and stuff
jonytequileiro: No buddy, lots and lots of people complained about the horrible take they did to Overeaters.
No reason at all besides a possible hidden agenda of pushing ghoul into meta or even the only way to complete future challenges without heavy strugling... These changes like the armor makes more sense to new players or casuals because the hidden damage reduction 42% of PA, wasn't easy to spot for a lot of people, humans are getting dumber everyday it seems.
eddieanarchy: Grunt Hunts provide 10 x the amount of legendaries per hour exluding E.Notice WIth G. Hunts and Wanted Posters, low levels can actually have a challenge doing the standard events, as far fewer people are doing them in favour of Springs content. But, in the time it's taken to do that event, ive done 4 grunt hunts and got 20 legendaries.
KyleNornIreland: Nope im Playing as a Ghoul and Love it
Im annoyed they moved all the Emotes about now idk where anything is
onlyone7417: I feel like Bethesda is trying to push veteran players away, depending on new blood to make these changes effective. At some point as you play you reach a point where you have thousands of Legendary modules, you know 90% of the mod recipes, you have everything the game has to offer. And I know many veteran players who continue to play only to help guide/help newer players to be successful. As for is fallout 76 fun for me (a veteran player) the short answer is yes and no. Its a mindless activity that allows to me get stress out.
malaizjandejesus2779: The Head Hunts, Grunt Hunts and the 2 new events in Burning Springs. Now I may stick around long enough to complete those hunt challenges and the Abraxodyne briefcases (got 31 left to go) I would probably take a break.
