Shopping CartWestsideaviation23: "the Mothman stole my catalytic converter"
AmashiYakashi: I get they can be annoying but at the same time it is kinda cool how bethesda glitches create this old style urban legend type stuff to this day.
stefanstoyanov7460: The only urban legend that I've met was some bloke that didn't like me in one of the events and kept killing me without engaging the PvP. He kept finding me between servers, too.
UNSCMarine117: People who see the smiling man: "He's just standing there! MENACINGLY!"
Matt-md5yt: oh sweet another urban legends vid and it's on 76? that is really cool. glad you are doing well and still making cool vids
Westsideaviation23: Howdy stopping by showing love
DunnoJustLuckyIGuess: Hey man, I really enjoyed the video. I'm a Sim76 believer, but I think it's a history sim like Anchorage.
Anyway there are some more things you might like to look at for another video. Sorry if you've already covered these.
1 - The Enclave bunker underneath The Whitespring is based on an actual construction.
2 - The robots replacing the workers is based on real life automation in coal mining. Industrial machines literally took their jobs. That might not sound scary until you realise it's been any issue for a VERY long time. As an Australian who had no idea about any of that, I find that doubly horrifying: The fact it's happened/happening, and the fact that apparently nobody thought it was worth reporting on worldwide.
3 - Scrip was real. You weren't allowed to use actual money in certain towns. Not just certain stores: TOWNS. Company towns. Imagine you start working for Epic Games (The Fortnite guys) and they're like 'You want to work and feed your family? You have to move into our town which only uses Vbucks, and also you will be paid in Vbucks. Take it or leave it'. Well, that basically actually happened to a lot of Appalachian families.
4 - In Point Pleasant, if you go to the Silver Bridge at certain times (random nights, I think), you'll notice a bunch of flying machines on the other side of the river. There's an invisible wall so you can't get to them, you can't even shoot them. They're a reference to alleged UFO sighting that happened roughly the same time as the second batch of Mothman sightings (which happened just before the Silver Bridge tragedy - this is why people consider Mothman a harbinger).
Thanks for making the video, I really enjoyed it.
HunterSeeker117: Cheers mate, appreciate the effort.
AtticKnight: I'm sorry, but "Mothm'n" just makes me think of Homestar Runner
G.J.D.O.N: I LOVE MY HECKIN WHOLESOME TODDSLOP YESS
MZeternally: Part 2 of Skyrim urban legends? Good video unc
nharoth: I'm kind of surprised they made snallygasters into something that doesn't resemble the legend at all, when all the others are so close to their mythological representation. They even have a flying dragon-like enemy in the scorchbeast. I'm not sure why they didn't put the snallygaster in that role instead.
Silvereyesovernight: Aw yeahhh
TR0PYCANA: “Bethesda, Bethesda never changes.” (Keep up the great work.)
Arvel_The_Swit: I love seeing more videos like this for FO76. I love the game and am always glad to see more content on it!
Also, I swear your sponsor for this video is the first time I've ever been watching a channel and actually been interested in something sponsored there. I clicked the link in the description before the ad was even over lol. I have no money to buy anything right now, but it's great to know that something like that exists!
bastardcat729: This was a fun one! With Burning Springs coming out soon I’m sure there’ll be a load of new creepy happenings terrorising the playerbase that it’d be neat to see you cover.
A bit out of nowhere but are you aware of drb0sch’s New Vegas ARG/unfiction project? It’s kinda different from what your normal vids but I’d genuinely enjoy seeing your take on it.
vermis-0: just want to say that i would definitely watch a video on fallout 76 as a game. i'm almost certainly not aware of anything that has happened to, or in it, for quite a few years
Valmcpossum2: I loved 76!! Until I realized between Fallout 1st and Atom I was spending $60 a month
Kainlarsen: Too many references in games like this now... It takes me out of the immersion and just feels trashy.
bobsaget8791: An update on the interloper, there's now baskets of fish and chum in the mine. With this and the deep note at fisherman's rest, it looks like Raymond or the Fisherman are feeding the interloper our fish.
halfhero: Never played 76 myself, but loved hearing stories of its quirks, thanks Mr. OfSlay!
MintTea-0: Kinda random question but how far back can you trace these urban legends? Like are there any urban legends around Elder Scrolls 1-2 or any around Fallout 1-2? I absolutely love your videos btw, they really take me back
rustyshackleford9989: Engagement!
I love the addition of Cryptids. Love em IRL and especially in games.
bobsaget8791: love a good 76 video, this was great, subscribed for more
DarkExcalibur42: always hyped to see a new ShadesOfSlay video <3
