rivanlords1: SALT (7) Rapidan Camp in The Brown House -SKYLINE VALLEY...perfect place to farm time to time. This is instanced and you wont have to fight others for the spawn.
fermidox: The light-bulb bobber from the scoreboard is a must-use as it continues to show up underwater even after hooking the fish. There isn't much mention of this trick, but you can see where the cone will appear from the direction where the line/bobber gets pulled (and move your left stick in that direction before the mini-map opens up), and all the other bobbers disappear as soon as the fish hooks (i.e you can only follow the line itself with those other bobbers, which is why plenty of lighting is needed to see that).
MonsterHobbieShow: I've been doing the daily quest every day, haven't received a single mod plan >:( (I'm not going to create several characters for it, we shouldn't need to be doing that in the first place).
I managed to catch a deathjaw without mods though, not sure how haha.
Diffendaff: Good tips! I feel like your best advice is patience. There is nothing time limited besides the axolotl title for catching every months which could take you just an extra month to get. Fish when you get a chance but don’t get burned out by it, it’ll always be there.
GAMERxCOWBOY: I'm here for the class
DouganDruid: Wavy Willards for the axolotl. I've caught so many while trying to get the legendary fish..just turned 4 into bits
skylerreigns: For the people watching in the future, there are certain Biomes each month for the Axolotl: January- Skyline Valley/Savage Divide, February- Cranberry Bog/Forest, March- Skyline/Toxic Valley, April- Mire/Ash Heap, May- Skyline/Cranberry, June- Mire/Toxic Valley, July- Ash Heap/Forest, August- Mire/Skyline, September- Ash Heap/Toxic Valley, October- Toxic Valley/Savage Divide, November-Forest/Cranberry,December-Ash Heap/Toxic Valley.
TrollUnderTheBridge1: I'm way past getting frustrated with fishing.
I'll catch a fish, maybe catch 1 or 2 shifts, then the damn thing will veer off at a right angle at 900 mph.
demonoid7469: The one tip I can give that will give you an extra second to catch the fish, which helps with the harder ones...Watch the bobber when it gets pulled down! The direction it goes, is the direction the fish will be, so you have an extra second or so preparing ahead of time!
Jarjar-j9u: Awesome video! I was stuck doing mark 2, great tips thanks!
Summit900: My only tip would be to just not use superb bait unless you absolutely have to, like with local legends and the axolotl. And even then, you can use improved bait with the axolotl and common bait with the local legends. It will take longer. You only get them through the season pass and there is only like 20-25. I made the mistake of wasting the first 2 you can buy on my basic rod at the beginning,
grogg7661: Nothing wrong with common bait, but you catch rare fish much more frequently with improved bait. Improved bait is way faster when it comes to completing the rare fish challenges. But that of course comes with a price.
nikkim8233: I saw someone say they got the piranha behind Wayward and I went there too and caught it the 2nd-3rd time I threw in the reel lol
TechKnowCat: I got advance drag on my second daily. thank RNGesus lol
chuckharling: Do the buffs for grilled fish work if you are a herbivore?
golgothingaming4719: anyone else having a hard time finding the water in the ash heap that he is talking about? next to the 83 sign?
lufrog6465: Fantastic, I was truely struggling coming back for this season and coming into the market 3 roadblock. Hope this ends my pain. Thanks always!
WulfRanger: Just thank you, I was having issues
joshuamoller95: which mods do you recommend to cacht a bluefinn in skyline? because those things go wheeee like 1200kmph and go rouge
Matthawg: I'm struggling just reeling them in. I need more practice and patience
Deon--cd9hz: I got 6 glowing kanawha but not a single normal one
biggbugg7454: Fishing build when? Lol jk
michelleborchardt199: Just got the Mark 4 today! Good tips, now off to get some legendary fish!
AlysandirDrake: From what I've seen there are people who just have a knack for the minigame and don't really need anything special to their rods...and then there are people (like me) that no matter what you do, the minigame just requires a level of hand-eye coordination that they simply don't have. I'm in that weird place where I'm able to catch the common and even some uncommon fish without any real effort, but I don't have the ability to catch any of the significant fish because it jumps too far, too many times and invariably I'll lose it before it's made all 4-5 jumps. I don't have advanced drag but I do have improved bearings, and I'm using every tip the community has thrown out there. *I'm*
lh7615: Thank you very much
kingbob3051: Good morning Mr West tek!
