Dervraka: The "cryo" slow is a highly underrated ability, you can take a battle where you would take a ton of damage and literally run circles around frozen enemies as they can't even turn fast enough to hit you.

Yea I bought this and the auto-axe using atoms. I'm not grinding expedition stamps just for these two, as I already did for the union PA.

caddyben: A testament to how good it is- yesterday, myself, a lowish level 300 something player along with a level 112, were able to 2 man Earl because we were all that showed up, and I used the cold shoulder the entire time. 0 issues. Felt super nice.

KawaiiKate88: don't get me wrong the cold shoulder is a good shotgun but since the definition of a shotgun in 76 has changed recently to any weapon that fire more than 3 projectiles, it isn't the best in my opinion, the best is one of two weapons. the first is the quad laser rifle with a sniper barrel and a beam splitter it does great damage and unlike other shotguns it has the range and vats accuracy of a sniper rifle and with an ammo capacity of 63 it can take advantage of the new bulletstorm mechanic amongst others. the other contender in my eyes is the harpoon gun especillay when made explosive it does truly insane amounts of damage on my shotgun build i get between 750-1000 damage per projectile and with 7 projectiles that's alot of damage and that's without any critical or stealth bonuses so you could even push it further.

judasiscariot6399: If you ever have enough time to CC regular enemies with a weapon, then the weapon is bad. This is why utility doesn't equate to anything.

stephenjones7829: Tesla rifle is my out and out favourite but there are so many I like to use that are now viable . Every day i seem to be swapping different weapons in and out of my stash box.

danlewis2449: Nah, I've been running shottie builds since I started the game, and Kabloom and Crowd Control are better than this weapon. Kabloom for distance and CC for close encounters with that debuff. Quad/Crippling or Furious/Crippling Auto Combat Shottie or Gauss Shottie also best CS. If you have the right build, you're going to get tons of mob disables anyway, and you don't even need that CS freezing effect at all.
