philiphealy1766: Thanks Smashy. Good info from you as usual. I have not turned Ghoul yet because of logic really. Why have we stayed down in a vault all our lives to avoid radiation just to seek out radiation and embrace ghoulification? But I think you have gone half way Smashy to persuading me.

damnsurfer522: I would say a downside is having to collect and carry stuff to maintain your glow. Not a big fan of having to micromanage a sub system. As far as your XP comparison goes, that's true for the snake (at a cost) but, for everything else you're not keeping up.

DJ-cm3dp: Wish they would add a shield for human build like ghouls have, it's so hard for me to find a team with other humans and half the perk cards do not work if your not on a team with other humans. Only reason I have never turned ghoul is that I do not want to be even more OP. They said they were balancing the game damage but they have made it worse.

TheeMasterSword: The cons are really compounded though which I feel like were not touched on. Yes it is true that you have a harder time capping XP, so you need to jump through hoops like putting the 2 star INT on your armor. But the entailment of doing that is you miss out on other 2 stars like Powered, so you have a harder time managing AP. Or another example, putting 3 star INT on your weapon means you miss out on VATS OP, further hampering AP useage. Then you combine that with the human only perks like Thirst Quencher and UNY vs ghoul perks and no bonus 15AGI from UNY and you find that ghouls have much much worse AP all around. It is really obvious when you try similar builds side by side. You use coffee/cake/whatever, so maybe you don't notice it as much, but after recently switching back to human, it's crazy how different it is. Faulty Spots isn't worth it for me. Maybe now with Active 3 star and Radhog Burnt Ends, idk tho? All the percent AP regen stuff is better with more max AP tho which Human gets and Ghoul doesn't if they use INT 2 star and can't use Thrist Quencher. But anyway, I say all this to say the entailment of having to use up slots to make up the INT deficit manifests in other parts of your character.
