paulprowl1981: When we can make canned cranberry relish or brain bombs it’ll be worthwhile. I have a cryo freezer full of cranberry relish but it would be nice to be able to carry it around without it spoiling.

Expensive to make can, the can foods weight 5lbs, the selection to can absolutely sucks(no xp buff for herbivore) and perk cards don’t help with the weight…. At least in the pts, which then will not change a day before launch… So I am gonna say it will suck

jamesanthony8438: I'm curious if the canning can be used to can those foods, and then sell them to vendors when you have a daily challenge to do so. I hate storing crap in the freezer that still tends to go bad before I can cook and sell it for a daily.

TheGreatPanicker: The problem with canning though is the resulting weight issue of the finished canned product. A can could weight up to 3 pounds while just crafting a meal and eating it would only weight less then a single pound. Sure the food in the can is now preserved, but who is gonna lug around 20 cans of cranberry relish during their playthrough? Not me!! Get a grip on the canned weight problem Bethesda. Besides, the military freezer is still available in the atom shop, so just buy the bundle to get it and your problems are solved.

jvazacas: Well, the added weight for each food is not a great trade-off. I doubt I'll can many foods and just keep using the cryo freezer.

eightchickens: With that expensive cost to make clean can (to me), none of the food is worth canning. I'd pick good with salt and be happy with food.

rae-raehmmm2135: Pointless as I’m a ghoul. I would rather them increase the stash box. Add whatever craft station to your survival tent. Bring in a whole new area, with a different type of enemy etc.
