jvazacas: The deathjaw, as well as the other 2 fish needed for mark 4 reel can be caught in normal weather with common bait. I've caught 2 of each without rain and common bait. Going for 3 out of 5 for each tonight.

liamjoe3690: I caught the Kanwaha Piranha near death claw island using common. It was raining there and I didn’t have the rain weather machine at the time.

shawnadams1965: I got my Axolotl using the clues on the log-in page, got my reel to Mark III and now I'm not fishing at all except the daily to try to get the mods to make the fishing easier. But my RNG has been horrible and I keep getting housing items instead of the mods. Fun fact even when you scribe the housing items you can keep getting the same plans over and over, which to be honest, sucks. At least when I finally do get the mods, I should have a good amount of improved bait saved up. Also if you struggle with using the mouse, I found that the arrow keys make fishing a lot easier.

iapprovelolis5123: when feeding the crab look at the prompt on the screen if she is starving she will give you lots of rewards but if it says she is almost or full you won't get anything

AntonisApostolopoulos: Just an advice for those searching/doing daily fishing quest: learn the plans that are not rod mods so they stop dropping, many plans will not stop dropping unless learned this making your life harder to get the rod mods. Alternatively use your mules to also do the daily fishing quest and transfer mods /plams and improved bait between your toons.

m.r.jarrell3725: I caught the Glowing Kanawaha Piranha in the Northern Organ Cave. On common bait. No rain or nuke. The 3 ponds in Skyline have some good fish, too.And I caught 3 of the Banded Axolotl today in The Maw. 1 on common and the others on improved. My rod has advanced drag, MK1 reel and is still Janky.

dustinj4283: I have had so many frustrating days with the fishing. So many fish lost because I wasn't getting the mods. I tried the alt char tip that MWT suggested the other day and first try, got my advanced drag mod and gave it to my main. Then I went to the retreat and in about 10 minutes, got a glowing gulpy and my first axolotl finally. Then I traveled to skyline and withing a few minutes, finally got my last bluefin to get my mark 3. I was kinda riding a high there, so I went to wavy willard's to start on the ones for the mark 4. Didn't get any of the required ones, but did snag 3 glowing potbelly kelts. When I logged off to go to bed, I recited the immortal words of Ice Cube, "Today was a good day!"

chrishee6592: Since I dont have nuke zone weather machine, I just patiently fish the glowing fish by using Thunderstorm weather machine, it was slow but fron my fishing experience in rain, even common baits you can fish rare fishes, its like 15:1 chances but I highly recomend use inprove bait all the way. Ngl glowing ones are the hardest to get, took me 3 days just to fish the glowing fish at cranberry borg for the lvl4 reel mods. one thing about those fishing rod mods, the fastest way and easiest will be utilizing your mules but be warned, do not learn those mods from the mule, just transfer them to yoir main character that you currently using for fishing.
