Is This Too Much? NEW Map Changes Infestation Overhaul in Fallout 76

GBRyker61: It's good that their making it so that you have to fight the minions in order to draw out the Infestation boss. But they need to leave the health pool alone or bring it down a bit.

As for the pets. Well, it's a Lvl 1 pet, so it won't do too much damage. Hopefully, as it levels up, it'll be able to do more damage.

jamesanthony8438: "This.... has really got me disappointed."

Welcome to the wonderful world of "Fallout 76" =)

Gimmee_Dat: The community has let Bethesda get away with SO MUCH that they don't care anymore and just do what they want when they want. I'm so glad I stopped playing this game.

cmd062: I mean if your pets damage is tied to its level then it makes sense that a level 1 pet will do very little damage and die a lot. I think leveling your pet up to 50 and having them do a good amount of damage at 50 is a good way to go about it.

As far as revival, there should be a timer to when they automatically revive without a stim and it might be a interesting feature to also tie how quickly they revive on their own to their level. For example a level 1 pet takes 3-5 minutes without a stim and a level 50 takes 30 seconds without a stim.

I can already see the monetization for pet companions, collars, armors, outfits, etc.

rickymherbert2899: Just watched Nuka Knight's video on the incoming mini season - Sock Hop. Are Bethesda having a laff at us players? As it's a joke in my humble opinion. It's going from serious gaming to a circus show!

hughejasse1: For me Infestations have been a swing and a miss. It's not the new content I wanted as I'd prefer more story based like finishing the rust king arc or more Enclave material. Also the infestation bosses are either pushovers or massive bullet sponges. Then there's the upcoming mini season with more titles and filler, the motorcycle at least has player buffs, and the next season with more reskins even though we were assured that would be changed. I also think pets will just add more lag to events and cause more issues. Regardless, thanks for the video and take care.

imperialist-x: Morgantown was the best for harvesting legendary items from the minions. It rivaled the old Eviction Notice take. The boss was also always at the Super Duper mart on the corner next to the orange Zax crate. The only glitch I ever encountered was one time I was respawned inside one of the safe houses from Back on the Beat and I could not get out and had to fast travel. It was my favorite location, so of course it has to go.

xxj3r3myxx41: Infestation are a joke. Nobody bothers because the enemies are bullet sponges and you get one crappy 4* item that for some reason scrapping mods doesn't unlock anything.

jimmorine9214: It’s the death of Fallout 76

benclarke9411: I don't know what you're thinking, but this game is painfully boring and so far from fun anymore. I've actually, after all this time, stopped doing dailies and jumping on altogether. The game is in a sad state at the moment, and I can't see it getting better from here.

DuckDecoy13: 7:45 Also like the smoke area giving it that fog of war type of feel

deetigerhoover4129: I use a cat at my camp. I like how it will get on to my characters lap when I seat her at the fire pit or sit her on sofa with the skeleton.

I am under the impression that having your PET follow you while adventuring is optional so I will more than likely choose to leave my cat at camp.

pinkfloydvk: Yeah I'm infestations in private on my own or with 1 or 2 friends. Normally take down everything in the area anyway. It can definitely be difficult with bosses at times by yourself even with team mates. Thanks for another great video

DuckDecoy13: 7:01 Well I kind of like this idea give some of us time to get over there before it ends. Don't know about everyone else though

HarryB4497: Bethesda could’ve stopped at the server wide notifications and reworked Infestation progression, players interested would’ve easily had enough time to fast travel over to them; but no they had to also make them a challenge for the minority who can melt enemies, just by looking at them, making them nearly impossible for the majority.

Brilliant.

DuckDecoy13: 8:23 yeah I happen to agree with that one, especially one the other day when I was trying to figure out where apparently it was a mole miner Boss was at come and figure out where it was for like 20 minutes... Finally found it though, but I was extremely annoyed along with another player I was with in that event

DuckDecoy13: 5:45 I like this change a little bit, although I am very concerned about the pets.

Also I've already said this once before on someone else's video in a different way but Bethesda get your ass in gear or else you're going to end up like Bungie or worse

battletank21: If the infestations are bigfoot hard people will just leave. Dumb change, it was supposed to be a squad event not a server event

NikolaiVolkovski: i’m just disappointed should be fallout 76’s tagline at this point

bossbattlebonanza1511: I played all weekend. There are lots of nuisances, like someone taking over your campsite and getting kicked off a server and needing to surf through multiple servers to find one to host your camp again, but hours would slip unnoticed while playing Primal Cuts and Enclave missions. Easy to make friends, too. I take the good with the bad, but it really is one of my favorite games.

habinations: there seems to be a miscommunication with the devs on infestations .

all i want is the loot dudes,i dont wanna fight it with alotta people because sometimes nobody shows up or im alone doing it on a privater server.

all i want is the loot.all i ever want is the loot.

marking it harder so more people can do it like a world boss is a great idea in theory.

but what happens if youre the only one that shows up to the event? thats a bad time then.

all i want is the fin loot .making it harder will only make me ramp up my dps so i do it faster.

too hard i wont do it at all.

medium hard ill afk and just pick up the loot from the boos .so i dont use ALL MY BULLETS .....im not farming copper f off with that crap.

XB-Gamer31181: Some people were crying about Morgantown being too hard I liked it

Koyote5: Honestly i dont think pets SHOULD do much damage for you. Are you a gamer whos looking for an easy button? This game is easy as is.

psycleshift: Pets are making me quit after 7 years every day, im not looking at 24 deathclaws 24/7 for the rest of the games life, f that.

kevinmckenna7261: Pets seems a complete waste of time, Bethesda lots their way again. Nerfed things that work and don't fix the bugs and then add to them. Content is getting less and less fun. Personally Ghoul and expeditions are poor, could have been miles better with some added depth but they left it with no lore making them fell.hollow like the raid. Made headhunt and bigfoot complete bullet sponges. Game is supposed to be fun. Too busy reskinning and increasing shop prices.

PaulFerguson-y5j: Are you serious? As screwed up as this game is they are going to add to the mechanics of the game when it already struggles with what is there now. I can't play for 30 minutes without it locking up or just flat out kicking me out.

With the issues in the game already I will give my pet going with me a hard pass.

lh7615: Thats dissapointing.
