High chance somebody set up a fishing camp with weather stations.. thats how ive gotten them.

Eiglayn_Misthios: Praying they bring one of those weather machines back to the shop. I've caught everything and have the mk4 reel, but i'm sitting at 9/76 glowing caught and just can't motivate myself to grind for them without rad/nuke machine.

jacobkeegan721: The only time you ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want a glowing fish is when you need a Piranha for the Mark 2 reel and you get a Glowing one. It doesn't count for the challenge. It happened to me yesterday. I have still yet to catch that extremely elusive Piranha. :(

Krishnath.Dragon: I caught a glowing kelt today, quite by accident. The weather was clear, and I was doing the daily fishing quest in the Toxic Valley. It was literally the first fish I pulled. My reaction was like, what the heck? But hey, now I have it.

trevino73: I finally completed the 76 glowing fish challenge. Boy!!! That took a very long time. Only thing i need to do is catching all the axoloti’s and doing the dailies. Have to wait next month for the next axoloti.

Thorsten369: My main camp is near the water and i have always have a weather station on duty so to say, i chance it from time to time to other weather. I do it mainly for other players (a lot of players are always fishing at my camp). Have also a mobile fishing camp (blue printed) with turrets so i can fish without being interrupted. There are more people with fishing camps including all kinds of weather stations.

Jonnyguitar1877: I caught two Glowing Potbelly Kelts in a row at Wavy Willards a few minutes before I caught Wavy Willard. I hope they ad some more monster fish in, it would be cool to have a tier that’s not quite the legends but even crazier than the deathjaw.

Lionheart_1192: You get a 10% chance of getting the glowing fish with the nuke zone and improved bait and 3% chance with the normal bait. But its a 4% chance to get a glowing in normal weather with improved bait and 1% chance with regular bait. Thats pretty significant and I recommend server hopping until you find a camp with one of these nuke weather machines and that if you have the improved bait that you keep it for those nuke zones. Other than that using the common bait in the nuke zone is almost as good as using improved bait. Id avoid trying to fish without weather stations and with normal bait, unless you have all day. Make sure you keep stocked up on grilled fish also.

MightyBatmantis: After scorched earth there is water you can fish at in the southeastern part of the map, that's where I go for glowing boglurkers.

c-st4r: How is best to catch the hard fish that move really far around the dial really fast? Is it better to have the normal speed but wider triangle (steady handle), or thinner triangle that moves faster (stablized gear ratio)? Or another part I don't have yet?

However, I am quite disappointed fishing is useful only for fishing itself, once you catch three super special fish, unless you really like it or want some specific cosmetic, there isnt much to go for, fish food isnt that good and fishbits for legendary farming is at about same level as camp pet legendary farming but pets can be done AFK, I guess, I wish you could get something special from crab feeding, maybe re-acquire quest legendary gear or such would surely be nice reason to bother with fishing and crab feeding, I even seen already people sell fish and bits, or even throwing them on ground and donate box, so I guess more people stopped to care to feed crab
