b1orogue: I'm leaving town Thursday and will be gone the whole event, so I started farming yesterday afternoon. I took just 10 shops and hunted down maybe 15 holiday scorched. I ended last night with around 300 presents.

tobymarkham: I do like to claim all of the workshops. Yes there is a good chance it’ll crash, and yes it takes a while to farm every one of them, but at least it maximizes your farming.

But if it does crash, you’ve got about 90 seconds to rejoin your private & retain all of the workshops. The only pain is that they are not an available to fast travel to. But I have a solution for that.

Many are close enough to another fast travel target (easy example, mornings power plant). Travel there & your workshop icon will reappear. Give it a few seconds to load the workshop in, then fast travel to it.

For ones that aren’t close enough to another location, I’ve got a camp that’s close enough, like the ammo factory. Another option (though only foot in one spot) is placing your tent near one of the remote workshops.

Using this method, there is no workshop I cannot easily reload. It is just a real grind. One that generally feels like it can easily eat up one full day!
